• Train Jumble Development Update & Second Playtest - 28 July 2026

  Dear Travellers,Train Jumble is in the middle of its production phase and is progressing well. We have created two of the four routes across Europe for the 1.0 release. Testers will be able to travel from Rome to Copenhagen and London to Budapest in the current version.If you're interested in the current state of the game you can either apply for a playtest here or visit us at gamescom (Hall 10.2, Indie Area Home of Indies)Additionally, we have been implementing new features such as additional wagons and a color picker feature!All to say: Development is progressing smoothly we are on time for now.The next playtest - exclusively for Kickstarter backers in the tier of "Traveller" or above - launches on Thursday, July 30th.

  Hi everyone,We have been developing Train Jumble for roughly one year now and have a big announcement to make.We want to go to the Kickstarter route to finish our game.Our demo already let's you experience Train Jumble’s gameplay for many hours. But the game still lacking content to warrant a full release in our opinion.We want to at least add• 2 routes across Europe• 8 new passenger types• 6 new modules • a feature that lets you add more train cars adds effects to the train cars which should enable more build variety.Each route we'll have 14 or 15 towns you can travel too and 30 collectible postcards. We also need to localize the game.Adding this content won't be possible with our current budget. The FFF Bavaria has graciously supported train jumbles development with €80,000 and we have invested €50,000 and its development ourselves.But to finish the game more investment is needed but…

• Ready to ride! Train Jumble demo is live now! - 29 May 2025

  It’s demo launch time! We are very excited to be part of the cozy & family friendly steam fest and to be taking off with our demo for Train Jumble! In the demo you will be travelling our home region of Bavaria in Germany on three routes which will also be the starting area of the game. Using modifiers you will be able to make passengers more demanding up the challenge of completing the route. We’re super thankful for all the feedback you provided during our playtest and managed to improve the game because of it! The most important take away from the tests for us was implementing part of the game’s progression and spreading out the difficulty curve by adding a balatro-like stakes system. We also added more systems to the game such as modules that generate money.   On February 19th we made a first version of Train Jumble available to an audience beyond our small studio from Bayreuth / Germany. So firstly, it's time to say... Thank you!
