• Patch 1.0.10 - Fixed bug with Steam Integration - 5 August 2025

  This patch is to fix a bug caused by the Steam Integration which would cause an error when trying to grant a Steam achievement and was unable to connect to your Steam account. Steam achievements were being awarded at the final button push of the first and second level if you answered correctly and this error would soft lock the game as it would repeatedly run into this error. This should (fingers crossed) fix the soft locking issue at the button press of the first and second rooms. Thank you!

• Patch 1.0.9 - Potential Softlocking Fix - 3 August 2025

  I have been getting some reports about a softlock that has been occurring on the final level of the first room. I have not been able to recreate this issue happening to directly fix the issue but have taken some steps that should hopefully correct the issue. Added additional checks every few seconds to make sure the computer button hitbox collision is active. Added a 60 second timer on the screen that will automatically submit an answer when the timer hits 0. I hope these changes help those who are experiencing this bug.   Hey all, small and quick patch here to implement Steam Achievements into the game. New Feature - Steam Achievements Steam Achievements have been added for completing each room on both Standard and Hard difficulty as well as experiencing each of the monsters at least once. Steam Achievement progress is retroactive, by entering the title screen of the game you will be awarded with the Steam Achievements you have already earned. • Patch 1.0.7 - Mannequin Changes, Room Timer Skip Button, Anomaly Changes - 10 May 2025

  Hey all, I have taken a couple days for myself but I am back for this update! I hope these changes make the mannequin feel a bit better to go up against! I have also been receiving feedback about some confusion on what is and is not an anomaly. I have decided to remove any light anomalies from the game and removed them as being a possible answer when submitting. The demonic lady causes lights to flicker and turn off and I think this will make this less confusing now. The computer will now directly state if what you think is an anomaly is not listed as an option, it is not an anomaly. Also I have heard some people wishing they could skip the 20 second timer for the rooms if they do not have an active threat in them, so I have put a button next to the door to do just that. • Patch 1.0.6 - New Anomalies, Hard Difficulty Changes, Performance Increases - 3 May 2025

  Hey all, here is a patch to bring in many new anomalies, make hard more difficult and help a little bit with performance! Anomalies Many new anomalies in each room (around 15+ per room). Fixed some anomalies growing or shrinking much too quickly. Added a line in the mistakes screen for objects that moved location. Hard Difficulty Up to 2 threats may be active at time. Adjusted several threats to be harder to survive. Rooms without a threat active will be set to 20 seconds instead of 30 seconds. Threat Adjustments The Mannequins hit box to deactivate them has been increased. The Demonic Lady detection for how close the player is has been slightly increased. The Gatekeeper threat will now move slightly faster. Performance Adjusted some lights to only render as needed instead of every frame. This should slightly improve performance in some areas.   Continued updates, this time mostly focusing on the anomalies: Anomaly Changes Changed how the rotating anomaly works to be a constant rotation instead of only rotating while not looking at it. Changed some of the more obscure anomalies. Added new anomalies to all of the rooms. Threat Adjustments The mask wearing giant threat will now prevent your movement when he is spawning in, locking your camera towards him until the lights are turned back on.   Quick small patch to address the mouse snapping when receiving a temporary drop in framerate. This should make mouse movement much more smooth, even when things are loading in or having sudden drops in framerate. Thanks all, more to come!

  Here is todays patch to continue making your experience playing a better one! Threat Adjustments Painting Threat - visuals have been improved, audio range increased and player interaction collider has been made much larger. You now have a little more time as well before the threat defeats you. Threats will no longer appear on the first level of the rooms Homestead and Basement. Changes Central Computer will now display information about what you made a mistake on (Standard Difficulty). Central Computer will now always display if you were correct or incorrect. Central Computer text appears faster. Lights always start enabled in the Homestead room. When starting the game, your screen will be focused on the central computer for a few seconds longer to help those who get lost in the void on loading in. Skip intro will now also skip the submission computer initial text description animation.…

  Continued bug fixing and much needed adjustments to the threats! I hope these help make gameplay feel a bit smoother! Threat Adjustments Smiley - Moves slower, hitbox trigger to kill you has been reduced, and increased time that you can look away from him before he instantly kills you. Gatekeeper - Moves slightly slower and his hitbox to trigger him killing you has been decreased. Mannequins - Less mannequins will appear while this threat is active and you will have even more time to deactivate the attacking mannequin. The audio for the attacking mannequin has been increased as well as its range. Bug Fixes Smiley and Gatekeeper navigation has been improved and they should no longer spawn out of bounds or in walls.   Just a quick patch addressing some visual bugs and made some adjustments to the threats. Fixed Bugs Fixed anomalies that grow or shrink to be more easily visible. Fixed some anomalies not triggering properly and defaulting to no anomaly. Fixed lighting visual bug after the demonic lady threat appeared. Fixed flashlight not turning on after picking it up.
