• My Virtual Friend is out now! - 7 March 2025

  Hey everyone, After a great Steam Next Fest, I'm happy to say that the full version of My Virtual Friend is now out. Those who played the demo will have already seen Seria, however, we have 3 new friends to accompany you: The gentle businessman Onizuka The steadfast rock Rokku And the lovely girl Aiko All of these come with more voicelines, outfits, and customization, so you can make your own ideal friend. On top of that, we also added a whole bunch of QoL and bugfixes to give you as smooth of an experience as possible. If something does still go wrong, please let us know! The best way to do this is by making a post on the Steam discussion forums, or by joining our Discord server. We will be taking down the demo now that the full game is out, it doesn't really make much sense to have both versions available. • Demo updates: QoL and final demo additions - 2 March 2025

  Hey everyone, This will most likely be our final demo update before the game releases later this week, but we wanted to make sure some critical QoL issues were still addressed. Additions⭐ - Headphone improvements: Before, your headphones only showed up when you were listening to music through a 3rd party application like Spotify. We've now added a toggle however if you want it to only show up when linked to your audio application, or just have it be permanently active. - More outfits: Scarf, bucket hat, and propeller hat Bugfixes🪲 - Reduced black border artifact: We had some visual artifacts that caused your friend to have a black border when running the game in transparent mode. Whilst not entirely gone, we've been able to drastically reduce this. Removing it entirely will be hard as we are now running into issues with Unity and the Windows API preventing further improvements. - Impro…

• Demo Updates: Better friend customization - 27 February 2025

  Hey everyone! We've been getting some more player feedback as part of the Steam Next Fest (keep it coming!), which has led to some even better features we've implemented. This update is a pretty short one changelog wise, but I think the ability to customize your character has drastically improved the game, you can really make your friend yours now. Additions⭐ Character customization: You could already change your friend's outfits, but now you can change her as well. We currently support a base set of custom eye and hair colors, let us know if you feel like some are missing. Bugfixes🪲 Made it so buttons can actually be clicked easily in the transparent window mode

• German and Russian localization - 25 February 2025

  Hey everyone! Jumping with in a quick update 36 hours after the start of Steam Next Fest (did you wishlist yet?). We noticed quite some wishlists coming from Russian and German players as well, so we added localizations for these languages to the game. On top of that we have 2 more smaller additions: An extra hat, the Beret You can now give headpats to your friend Hope you like these updates! • Demo updates: Facial animations, outfits & more - 7 February 2025

  Hey everyone! It's been a bit over a week since our last update and we're back with some more great improvements. We've been expanding the core of our characters more, with better support for outfits and facial animations, so that it doesn't feel like a simple static 3D model, but instead someone who's really there with you. We've also started work on implementing more characters (the plan is to have 5 for the v1 launch), and whilst there are definitely some hiccups, we're making some good progress as well in this regard. • My Virtual Friend is now on Steam - 30 January 2025

  Hey everyone, I'm happy to announce that after My Virtual Friend has now hit Steam, along with a demo to accompany it. Expect regular updates for this demo as we add more features based on your feedback. My Virtual Friend is still in development, with the demo serving as our approach of "Early Access". The core idea for the game is already implemented howerver, with some extras: Cute girl(s) doing cute things Interact and customize your character 8 different instrumental music playlists to help you focus Media player integration (Spotify, Apple, Foobar,...)
