- Pixel Gun 2 Demo: Balance Changes - 18 June 2026
Thanks for being so active during the demo - your matches, comments, and feedback already help us see what needs tuning and now we’re rolling out a weapon balance update. 📢 🔫 Light weapons now slow players down less while attacking, so pistols, automatic weapons, and melee should feel better in motion.👨🔧 We’ve also reworked sniper damage: heavy snipers should no longer one-shot with body shots by default. One-tap kills should now come from Ability Cards or specific character bonuses.🛡️ Light armor now gives slightly more HP, Shuriken cooldown increased by 5 seconds and Mine cooldown reduced by 10 seconds. Weapon DPS has also been adjusted overall to make combat feel more balanced.We’ll keep adjusting the balance when needed.Here’s the full list of changes:Ability: Increase HP 🔴Max HP bonus reduced from 25% to 15%.Ability: Vampirism 🔴Max lifesteal percentage reduced from 45% to 2…

Hey pixelgunners! Here's our honest take on cheaters.Our anti-cheat in PG3D runs 24/7. It monitors behavior, processes player reports, and bans thousands of cheaters every month. But it works in a reactive way — it detects and responds after cheating has already happened, which means new exploits always get a window before they're caught. That's not a tuning issue or something you can simply patch — it's a limitation of the reactive model itself. Fixing it completely would require changing the core architecture of how the game validates actions.With Pixel Gun 2, we're changing that approach at the core. The server controls everything. Before, a client could tell the server "I dealt damage" and the server had to trust it. Now the client only says "I pulled the trigger," and the server checks the aim, ammo, weapon stats, hit validation — so the highest-impact exploits have nowhere to run…
