This time, I'd like to share our development progress for August.August Development UpdateIn August, we added an Auto-Play Mode that lets NINDO play itself.The main purpose of this feature is to serve as groundwork for making balance-tuning ideas easier to come by. By letting the game rack up play counts automatically, we can gather far more play data than we could by hand, and use it to work more efficiently toward better balance.Future PlansAs a next step, we're building an internal system that can use the data gathered from Auto-Play to suggest balance adjustments. Toggle it on or off anytime; turning it off hands control back to you at the next decision point.

These skills allow players to use specialized effects that match each character’s playstyle, separate from deckbuilding itself.By adding ways to strengthen the character outside of deckbuilding, we aim to make the game more casual and approachable, especially for players who may not be used to card games. MUMYO now plays an idle animation while standing by. Starting Gold at the beginning of a run has been changed to 0. Gold can now be obtained from the starting reward at the beginning of a run. Card Adjustments Electromagnetic Barrier: Added the Manifest keyword. Calm: Added the Manifest keyword. Flash Step: Increased the Block value. Mind Over Flame: Changed the cost so it can now be played for 0 Energy. Gust: Changed the cost so it can now be played for 1 Energy & 1 Dragon Vein.

Map Structure Adjustments In this update, we adjusted the map structure to improve the pacing of each run. Removed Event nodes from the map. Shortened the number of map layers. Adjusted each row of the map to contain 2–3 nodes. Due to the shorter map structure, the appearance rate of Shop nodes and Rest nodes has been reduced. Game Modes and Achievements Removed achievements related to discontinued game modes. MUMYO Card Adjustments and Fixes Hellfire: Fixed an issue with the card artwork display. Proclamation: Added an effect that deals damage. Embers: Changed the cost to require 1 Dragon Vein.

Hello, I’m Morikichi, the developer of NINDO - Guardian of the Starlit Shadow -.This time, I’d like to share a brief update on our progress in May and our plans going forward.Progress in MayIn May, we focused on creating card artwork for the second protagonist, MUMYO, and have brought him closer to a state where he can be played with a similar level of depth as SUZU.MUMYO is a character built around unique mechanics such as Dragon Vein, Wrathscale, and Violet Lightning. With more card artwork now in place, players can better experience not only his card effects, but also the atmosphere and identity of his fighting style.We also worked on improving the game’s usability based on feedback from players. Hello, I’m Morikichi, the developer of NINDO - Guardian of the Starlit Shadow -.Here’s a short update on our March–April progress and what’s next.March–April ProgressDuring this period, I focused on shaping the gameplay of the second protagonist, MUMYO, and expanded his card pool to 75 cards. MUMYO builds up Dragon Vein stacks as he fights, with two main damage themes: Wrath Scale (explosive burst damage) and Violet Lightning (steady, scaling damage over time).Alongside this, I’ve added more card-game mechanics built around moving cards between the deck and discard pile, as well as exhausting cards, to deepen decision-making and play patterns.What’s NextNext, I’ll be focusing on improving MUMYO’s card artwork, aiming to bring his play experience closer to the same level of completeness as SUZU.
