  We are excited to announce version 1.3.2 of our game!The issue with Steam Link not launching properly has been fixed.It took a lot of experimentation to identify the cause of the crash when using Steam Link. As it turns out, the splash screen displaying our logo was responsible, so we’ve disabled it in the Steam version of the game.We're particularly flabbergasted by this, as the issue doesn’t occur in the demo version of our other game—which uses the same splash screen. It seems to be one of Game Maker's quirks.

  We are excited to announce the release of version 1.3.1 of our game!• More tutorials have been added and expanded. • Tutorial popups now appear during levels. • An option to turn off tutorial popups has been added. • Fixed a bug where teleporting between portals in the hub of the first act caused music transitions to not work properly. • Fixed a bug where leaderboard windows sometimes wouldn’t close automatically.Regarding the issue with Steam Link, we are postponing the fix to the next update, as it is a Steam-only feature.

  We’re excited to announce version 1.3.0 of our game, which introduces two new levels!Based on feedback and monitored data, we've decided that the levels COMMUNICATE and FOR_REAL require warm-up levels before them.The level COMMUNICATE has been renamed to DISTANT_UNLINK, and a new level named COMMUNICATE has been added before it.A new level, WARMUP, has been added before FOR_REAL.If you load a save where a level following a newly added one has already been completed, the new level will be marked as completed but will not count as a true completion.Level requirements for all progress locks have been increased by 2.We’ve also made the following changes and improvements:You can now press F11 to toggle fullscreen mode.A tip for the 3_EQUALS_4 level now appears at the start of the level.Lastly, we’re currently working on:Improved tutorialsFixes for Steam Link support

  We are excited to announce the release of BitLiberator version 1.2.0! This update introduces a major new feature: gamepad support! You can now plug in a gamepad and play the game with it. New gamepad options have been added, allowing you to configure buttons, dead zones, and cursor speed. We’ve also included various quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes: You can now hold the left mouse button to select multiple allies at once. In hub levels, clicking on a portal to an available level will instantly move you to it. Clicking on an activated portal will teleport you directly to that level. Added an option to automatically move to a portal when hovering the cursor over it. Fixed a bug that could crash the game when creating links in the Battleship level. • Demo Version 1.1.0 - 8 June 2025

  We are excited to announce the release of version 1.1.0 of our demo, which introduces a major new feature to the game.You can now press the spacebar for an active pause. During active pause, you can see where your allies are heading, issue commands to them, and also direct your main program.   Following the feedback we've received, we're introducing the following bug fixes and improvements: • In sub-menus, you can now press Escape to return to the previous menu. • You can use the left mouse button to start the game during the title drop. • Added an option to change the upgrade colors for Allies and Enemies. • Fixed a potential bug that prevented the game from starting due to a different language setting on your Windows system.
