• Exonautis Demo new release and future plans - 2 July 2026

  Hi everyone,I have taken some time to review the feedback received, and the Exonautis Demo is now re releasing, with some of the changes included being some different models, improved load times and performance, as well as various bug fixes.Development has also started on a complete rework of the game, going for a much more alien aesthetic, combined with a retro futuristic look and a different story, and am really excited to share more news soon. If you want to stay up to date with this feel free to join our discord server. This will have a longer development time, so feel free to enjoy the current demo in the meantime. • Addressing the recent allegations - 15 June 2026

  Hi everyone, There have been a lot of recent comments and complaints regarding the second demo for the game looking like a copy of Subnautica. I am deeply sorry this is how a lot of people feel about the current demo. I want to create a unique and enjoyable game for everyone, and it seems I have failed in this regard with the current demo, so I have taken the decision to remove it from Steam.I also would like to address some false accusations that have been circulating around: all of the assets in game are our own creation and have not been generated with AI or taken from anywhere else in any shape or form. • Exonautis Demo released - 13 June 2026

  Dear Exonauts, I am pleased to announce that Demo 02 is officially out. You can download and play it by heading to the Store page and clicking the download button. The new demo offers a vast open world experience with 21 different biomes to explore and over 50 new creatures to discover.Survive, craft advanced tools and vehicles and make your own base. The depths of the ocean await and can only be uncovered by facing your fears and diving deeper. But beware, the deeper you go, the more dangerous the world gets. And equally, the more fascinating.To note, the demo has high hardware requirements, especially when it comes to memory usage, and while 16 GB of RAM can run it, 32 are heavily recommended sadly. • Exonautis Demo 02 Releasing Soon - 8 April 2026

  Thank you everyone for having supported the development of Exonautis over the past couple of months, your patience and enthusiasm have been amazing, and I am excited to finally be able to share some more specifics regarding the Demo release. Exonautis Demo 02 is planned for release at the beginning of May. While the date could be subject to changes, I am hopeful they should be minimal if they occur.
