- Version 1.0.3 - 17 November 2025
Hey everyone! In preparation for the upcoming post-content update, I’m releasing a small pre-patch that addresses several issues related to the game’s difficulty, along with an update to the game's branding!Changes:Added extra spawn time to the enemies whenever a new enemy spawns in.Adjusted spawning so that the more times an enemy appears, the less likely they will reappear until the player sleeps. These two changes are meant to address a big complaint in regards to the enemies constantly attacking without giving time for the player to breath and actually progress through the night. These changes should give more time to sleep, while still making the game challenging.Increased the animation speed when going to the bed from the closet or door.Adjusted the window enemy to almost immediately peak it's head inside once the player hides under the covers.Adjusted the difficulty of the window…

If there are any major game breaking bugs I'll make sure t…

- End of August Progress Update - 1 September 2025
Hey everyone, It’s time for what I believe will be the final progress update. Development has really picked up speed, and I’m happy to say the game is now very close to completion. All that’s left is adding that final layer of polish. This update will be fairly short. Over the past few months, I’ve shown plenty of gameplay, cutscenes, and animations, so to avoid spoiling anything further, I’ll just be highlighting some of the additional features the game has to offer. ControlsIf you haven’t already seen it on the Steam page, the game has full support for both Xbox and PlayStation controllers. You can switch between them at any point during gameplay, and all the expected features are supported such as haptic feedback for a more immersive experience.Localization The game will launch with support for five languages: English, Spanish (Castilian), French, Italian, and German. - End of July Progress Update + 1000 Wishlists! - 1 August 2025
Hey everyone, it's time for this month's progress update and I’m thrilled to share that the game has officially surpassed 1,000 wishlists on Steam! A huge thank you to everyone who’s wishlisted the game and shown support. It truly means a lot!To start off this update will be the gameplay with all the core gameplay systems now fully implemented! This includes player mechanics, enemy AI, and all other essential features leaving just the final step, polishing! This consists of just cleaning up the visuals, adding sound effects, and fine-tuning the gameplay through testing. Next up are the cutscenes. Only one cutscene segment is left, which I'm aiming to have finished and implemented within the first half of August, but everything else has been completed! Like the gameplay, it just needs polishing with visuals and sound effects. Here's how one of the current cutscenes looks in-game. Previou…
- End of June Progress Update - 1 July 2025
Hey everyone, slightly late but it's time for another progress update. This one is a bit short as last month, but alot more progress has been made. Additionally, there will be an update regarding the game's sale price.Starting off with the cutscenes, there are only 2 sequences left to complete, and at the current rate, they should be done this month. Here's just a little BTS clip of one of the completed cutscenes. For the gameplay, more progress has been made on the AI, as well as the addition of one of the special death animations. That wraps up the progress for this month. However, I have one final update regarding the game's pricing. Originally, the game was set to launch at $4.99. However, given the amount of work and investment that has gone into its development, the price will be slightly increased to $6.99. There will still be an initial launch discount for the first 7 days for eac…
- End of May Progress Update - 31 May 2025
Hey everyone, it's that time of the month with another progress update. This one's gonna be a bit shorter than the rest, but so far good progress has been made this month. This month, a lot of the gameplay was programmed in, which you can see in the GIF below. It includes player movement, UI, and a jumpscare at the end. For the cutscenes, they are over 50% complete. I've shown some clips of them in the previous update, however, I'll have to refrain from showing any more as to not spoil any of the game's surprises. That's all for this update, again this one is just a short update. In regards to the release date, It's going to be pushed back to a Q3 release (July-September). I do apologize for this delay, there have been some development issues behind the scenes, but overall I'm confident that the game will be out before September. Thank you all again for your continuous support, and make…
- End of April Progress Update - 29 April 2025
Hey everyone, another month has passed and I'm here to bring this month's update. Now I did mention last post that I would announce a release date, however, due to delays in the animations as well as me trying to finish my current semester of college, I have to postpone the announcement. Thankfully, I'll be finishing the semester in early May, so more progress will be made that month and I will hopefully have a set date for you guys. My current goal is to have the game finished for a late June/early July launch. Now even though there have been delays, some good work has been made on the cutscenes. Below is just a few snippets. I personally can't wait for you guys to see the full final version, but that's all for this update. Thank you all for your continuous support, and make sure to wishlist the game on Steam! I'll see you all in the next update!
- End of March Progress Update - 1 April 2025
Hey everyone, it's been a little over a month since the last update, and a lot more progress has been made. The game has also reached 500 wishlists on Steam! I want to thank everyone for showing their support and wishlisting the game, it's all greatly appreciated. For this month, I am happy to say that all the main gameplay animations have been completed. The only thing remaining is some extra cutscene animations. There are a lot of cool animations in the game, and below are some of the behind-the-scenes versions of the jumpscare death animations. The goal for April is to complete a majority of all the gameplay, as well as have all the cutscenes finished, but that's all for this update. Progress is going very well, and I am planning to announce the game's release date sometime in the coming month.
