Hey everyone - exciting news!We've been hard at work the past few weeks putting together a really nice, comprehensive tutorial for how to play the demo- and it's out now! We got some feedback from players about not understanding the controls at first, so we asked Rizzi to help us out. When you start the game up, Rizzi the Raccoon will welcome you to Cozy Beach and show you how to fish, run around, swim, change your appearance, and all kinds of stuff! For every new thing you learn, you win a cool prize - new apparel! Hello and Happy Lunar New Year!Cozy Beach was invited to take part in the Lunar New Year festival this year, and to celebrate we've updated the demo to be available in Chinese (Simplified)! Hey Cozy Beach fishers!Thanks for your patience while we got this new update out! We hit a few extra bugs and had a teammate out sick for a bit over a week so there were some delays, but we are back and have this awesome new update to share! Here's what's in it:You can now use a controller to comfortably play the Cozy Beach demo! You'll need the keyboard for entering your username and some multiplayer features, but you can chill out and fish with a controller and it works great now. If you prefer a specific setup for your controls, you can now remap all of the buttons (keyboard & mouse, or controller) in the options menu. Set it up exactly how you'd like - or snap it back to default if things get too wild. Hey Cozy Beach Fans!Summer's finally over, but we're keeping the summer vibes going with Cozy Beach!We just wanted to drop an update with how things are going behind the scenes.We've been hard at work on a big update for the demo.New features include:-Detailed settings page with display, audio and other options-Controller support-Steam Deck support-Re-mappable controlsWe're ironing out some bugs and will be sending it to our playtesters, and then out to Steam.We hope to have it on Steam in the next 2-3 weeks, altho since these settings are more complex systems that affect a lot of the game so far, there could be additional setbacks.
