  A Big Thank You to Our PlaytestersWe've just pushed another round of updates to the playtest build, and we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who's been playing, testing, and sending us feedback. Your input has been invaluable.Over the past several builds, we've been steadily improving the experience: refining inventory management and controls, polishing pickup and interaction animations, smoothing out the UI and HUD, and squashing a number of bugs along the way. Each update has brought the game closer to where we want it to be, and a lot of that progress comes directly from the issues and suggestions you've shared with us.This is very much an ongoing process. We're continuing to listen, iterate, and improve with every build, so please keep the feedback coming! it genuinely shapes the direction of the game.Thank you for being part of the journey. • Dark Trip Playtest Update - 3 July 2026

  Hello investigators!Over the past few weeks, we have released several updates for the Dark Trip Playtest. All of these improvements are now included in the latest version. The biggest change is a complete redesign of the inspection system. You can now freely rotate collected items, zoom in, examine details, and switch between clues more smoothly. We also added new animations and events for discovering and inspecting evidence. Other improvements include:* More intuitive ESC key behavior in the inspection screen and PhotoPad* A pointer that always starts in the center of the screen* New chain-style frames for the inspection screen and menus* Better detection of VR and non-VR modes* Fixed camera behavior when quickly leaving inspection* Fixed photo localization in desktop mode The latest playtest build is available now. • Dark Trip Playtest Sign-Up - 4 June 2026

  Hello everyone!We’re opening the very first playtest of Dark Trip on Steam. This is still an early version of the game, and your feedback will help us understand what works, what feels unclear, and what needs more polish. In Dark Trip, you take on the role of an investigator searching for a missing woman. You’ll explore creepy rooms, see strange things, take pills to solve puzzles, rely on hallucinations to investigate an eerie crime, and perform wicked experiments inside a mysterious laboratory. You can request access directly on the Steam page. Once you get in, play through the available version and leave your feedback in the questionnaire and here on Steam.
