Short description
Tokyo, 1998. A rain that never ends and a girl who wants everything to end. Two lonely youths will change the world with their choices.
About this game
Rain98: A lo-fi psycho-thriller romance adventure set in '90s Tokyo. In a chill but dark apartment room, you're joined by Reina Amehara (VA: Rio Tsuchiya), a girl with a mysterious and somewhat dangerous charm to her. Together, you decide you have to perform a strange ritual... to save the world from destruction. There's a charming girl by your side... but she can be a pain. Spend your hard-earned money to keep Reina fed and happy. Especially happy. Under no circumstances is she to be made upset. That would lead to terrible, terrible things happening. Your days with her will be sweet, bitter, somewhat scary, and always strange. Tokyo at the Turn of the Millennium Public phones ringing, game arcades beeping, and the neon signs of Shibuya shining through the lukewarm rain. Traverse this old city with Reina while you work on your secret ritual. Private Solace in a Dying Time Enjoy the nostalgic feeling of late '90s Tokyo all alone with Reina through a variety of minigames. A Psycho-Thriller Horror Between Reality and Delusion Things start feeling off, your memories become foggy, and Reina still holds onto a secret. Is what you see real? Is it your mind playing tricks on you? Tokyo's rain washes the truth away. Kick Back with Rain98's Soundtrack A whole range of chill lo-fi tunes will fill your room with nostalgy. Together with the sound effects of the surrounding environment, they'll transport you straight into the '90s.
