  City of Cats Update 0.0.2.021 - Controller Support & Quality of Life ImprovementsThat time has come where there's another update based on your feedback and the roadmap.   - Fixed an issue with the tutorial UI affecting the ability to stop eating if the cat is interrupted - Fixed an issue where pressing "unstuck" when in the tutorial would put the cat outside of the tutorial area - Fixed some logic issues with general interaction - Added the ability for the "unstuck" feature to reset some states of the cat just in case one gets stuck

  The time has come, City of Cats has a tutorial! This has taken longer than I expected however I was able to extend a few systems that already existed that will give the game more flexibility in later updates. The tutorial's content will be extended as City of Cats evolves so keep a look out for tutorial updates. I've tried to keep it as straight forward and helpful as possible outlining the actions that need to be taken as well as the related keybindings.   Fixed an issue where there the cat was unable to eat, drink, or open doors to houses even after becoming a level 2 pet

• You can now "unstuck" your cat! - 27 May 2025

  I've added a new option in the pause menu to allow people to free trapped cats and return them to the closest safe location. To use it just go to the pause menu and click "Unstuck", it's as easy as that! I've also dropped in a few fixes that were missed out on the cat recode relating to achievements and some instincts being triggered correctly Happy catting! - Owen

  This update is a pretty big one, it's taken some time to get everything in there but I feel it's worth the wait. Cat Rework Jump Anywhere After a few requests we noticed a trend and it was one that made sense so here it is! The ability to jump wherever and whenever you want. The precalculated jump will take over if you're close to objects to keep your cat abilities flexible and precise but otherwise hop away! Precalculated Jump The precalculated jump was... terrible... so its been stripped out and completely redone, now it's not an eyesore while you play!
