  Hey there!We're working hard on completing the game and we're excited to share some of our progress.   Hello alchemists! We're back with another demo update while we work hard at the full game!The additions and changes are as follows:A new save slot system, so you can have multiple saves; This will be important later on in the full game!Full controller support! No glyphs for a lot of the UI yet, but the demo is playable from start to finish entirely with a controller!Better tutorial with glyphs for the controls, so now you'll be able to tell what button does what.Loot boxes now have guaranteed loot, so your mission progress isn't held back by item drop RNGs.Bombs now roll less, staying closer to where you intended to throw it.And we also have some fixes!Fix error when getting hit by lightning tower;Fix error when leaving map while detected by enemies;Performance improvements - performance isn't as good as we want yet, but players should see lower CPU usage now;Fixed weird lighting on bui…

  The Rock Paper Shotgun CMS groaned like a harpooned whale when I fed the above game title into our database. I was tempted to shave away some punctuation for the benefit of whoever writes about this game next, but then I remembered that I hate everybody here as I do hell, all Montagues, and thee. Anyway, what a title. It's like Type Moon and Kingdom Hearts fell into a cyberpunk snakepit. I don't even know what half of those typographical characters are called. They appear malevolently polarised, pushing other letters away from them. They seem... primordial somehow. Our distant ancestors used to hack brackets like those into the walls of caverns, when they wished to add inessential tips about flint storage to paintings of hunters getting tusked by mammoths. • Demo has been updated! - 6 November 2025

  The 「TERROR」type:【A.L.C.H.E.M.Y.】 demo has been updated quite a few times during and after the Next Fest!The enemy path-finding has been improved, stutters during explosions are now minimal and along very many bug fixes and performance improvements, there are quite a few new quality of life features as well as new content! New craftable potions, bombs and even a craftable weapon! Talk to the villagers suspiciously just standing around a few times, and they'll eventually tell you a couple of secrets...Map can now be panned and zoomed, and objectives will say when they are completed!Items can now be assigned to hotkeys, by selecting the item and pressing a number from 0-9, and the currently held item can be holstered with Q!Hope you guys enjoy it! And look forward to more alchemixing in the future...
