• First Demo Content Update! - 3 February 2026

  Thanks to all who have played the game! It is greatly appreciated!Here is what's new!This is not a massive update but it adds a few quality of life updates that will greatly improve the game.Explosions now look and sound different.I have updated the explosions that are caused by the player too look better. What it is supposed to look like is a hot sauce pack expanding then exploding. This causes a lot of hot sauce to run down the back of the burrito. I made a few post on Reddit and asked some friends and I ended up with this. I think it is better than before but I am still open to feedback! I also changed the sound to fit the new animation better.   After a very successful playtest I am finally able to release the first demo! I added some new content and other features. I would love some feedback on what you think about!The Big AnnouncementToday you can get a demo of the game and play through it. I added a new burrito type which I'll talk about later, and updated the main menu to show all the upgrades that will be added in the future. When you are in the blindness burrito you can only see a 9X9 ariea. This makes it hard to see any dangers outside your vision.   After a year and a half of developing Dig Dig Burrito, I am finally able to release the first public playtest! I would love some feedback on what you think about!The Big AnnouncementStarting today I'm hosting the first public playtest. I still have a few months before I can fully release the game. But I have enough now to get a good quality playtest out there. I plan on adding a LOT more stuff to the game. Here is a list of things I will be adding.   Thank you to all who have wishlisted and followed my game. I am excited to continue to work on it and build a community here. Currently this is my current plan for the game. I am planning on adding at least 7 upgrades. Health, Explosive size, More explosives at the start of a run, Double your points when digging, More dig's, and more. There will be at least 10 random burritos events that you can do. If you chose to do one the difficulty will be much higher. But you can gain more points (Rice Points in game) and other resources. I am also planning on adding more enemies. I currently only have one but i am planning on adding even more. Here is the basic gameplay loop: 1. Look at your upgrades and see if there is anything you would like to upgrade. 2. Start the game and start digging. 3. After every 3 burritos you land on a small burrito that has 3 different choices.
