Why Do Boys Play Games? is a turn-based tactical strategy game that allows you to interact with your opponents when you aren't battling in an attempt to simulate the camaraderie and competition of an actual fantasy football league. You begin by creating a character, completing an optional tutorial, and drafting a custom team of players. You then take those players into battle. Each player has distinct moves and passive abilities, many of which can synergize with each other. As you continue through the weeks, you continually upgrade your team on the path to the championship. Along the way you can grow closer to your league-mates by walking throughout the clubhouse and interacting with them between games. Defeating enemies in battle unlocks further interactions revealing players' motivations and other story elements.
