• Iron Rain Cancelled (Sort Of) - 15 June 2025

  Hey,I'll cut to the chase, I do not plan on finishing Iron Rain.The reason is a mix of things:I've been struggling to develop it further because I've not enjoyed the feel of the game, I can occasionally find the fun, but either through burnout or just over-exposure to its premise, I'm not enjoying working on it.I've struggled to get traction on marketing and visibility, I expect, because I can not think of a way to market it.The game lacks and identity which makes it stand out, as it is, I have made a Survivors'-Like with a racing gimmick, and I don't think that is enough.I'm going back to the drawing board, salvaging what I can from Iron Rain and putting in a longer round of pre-production, to give the project which replaces it a better chance.I'll be correcting my mistakes via:Making a more visceral gameplay loop, that is, something which controls tighter, and provides feedback in a m…

  Hi, Adding in Sadie's Loading Screen and Elemental Effects Now when you hit an enemy while scoring a fire mode, corrosive mod, shock mod, or nanite mod, effects will occasionally occur delivering bursts of elemental damage in a variety of ways! Cheers, Scott Nos Games

• Demo Release! - 8 May 2025

  Hi, I'm pleased to announce after a short round of private testing and feedback the Demo is ready to go live. This is still a work in progress so I'll explain what the Demo 0.1.6.0 will release with and what I intend to work on while its released until I shift gears to working on the final game. The Demo will release with access to: 2 Characters, The Tanky Minnie (Shire - Green Tank) and The Speedy Sadie (Quarter - Red Tank) 16 Items 1 Stage (The Factory) 12 Pickups 3 Bosses (Weather Machine, Hell Rider, Prototype Core) What I intend to work on over the course of the Demo: Responding to feedback, I'm listening and making changes right now in private feedback sessions, hearing a new players perspective is very helpful, I intend to do the same when the Demo is public New variations on the Static Defenses (the little activatable pop-up turrets), this is a mechanic I feel is underused right…

  Changelist Menu Menu button sounds changed Pressing back on the Play Menu's Stage Select will return you to Character Select instead of the Main Menu Credits Text changed Minor changes to font for readability Gameplay New effects when entering critical state Critical state now accelerates for each time it is entered, going from 10 seconds to 5 seconds over 5 Critical states. Any level up will now save you from Critical State with 1 HP Player on hit particle When hit the healthbar will now blink Objectives display at the bottom of the screen when paused and when starting gameplay Barrels no longer float over empty space unless hit Barrels which are hit now decay properly instead of indefinite bouncing Track markers and Track completions now have an audible effect Track completion now blinks the track marker Enemies should now be far less likely to get caught on the player and dragged

• Iron Rain Developping Demo - 24 April 2025

  Hi, Iron Rain has a Demo mostly prepared, its just going through a little playtesting and rounding some corners off. The game is still in a fluid state and development of its content and mechanics are constantly ongoing, expect this to be reflected in the evolving state of the Demo as updates are released.
