Hello, Detectives of Nollyn. This is Slater Chae, the developer of "Man of Nollyn", Since Patch v1.02 and the Steam Next Fest (June 2025), several content creators have graciously tried out the Demo. Patch v1.05 was only made possible thanks to their efforts and the generous feedback they shared with me. This update primarily addresses a frequently reported screen-freezing issue, and revises certain bribery/intimidation clues and interactable objects. The changes are as follows. Game screen won't freeze at refresh rate above 60Hz. Some content creators encountered a crash where the game became stuck on a single frame, all while the music continued, menus worked, and movement remained possible. Katherine Visual Upgrade Katherine's overall design has been improved. The biggest goal of this upgrade was to improve her design while maintaining the vibe of the character. Post-Deduction Feedback Clarity One of the most talked-about points from the Demo was how the game handled wrong answers during the deduction phase. Until now, the game would only tell you that “one or more answers were incorrect,” without specifying which or how many. Hello, detectives. This is Slater. Today, I want to share an important update regarding the game. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to change the game's title from 'Justice For Sale' to 'Man of Nollyn'. I recently discovered that other media share the title Justice For Sale, the most notable being a 1999 Frontline documentary. While this doesn’t pose any immediate legal issues, it might cause confusion and make the game harder to find. And to prevent it, I’ve chosen a new title that better represents the game’s setting and protagonist. Aside from the title change, everything else remains the same.
