Short description
Art House is a 2D puzzle platformer in which you play as a woman who gets trapped with her children inside the paintings of her recently deceased mother. Navigate through painting rips and use a magical paintbrush to escape and come to terms with your grief.
About this game
In Art House, step into the life of Lisa, mother to Ollie and Zoe, who's struggling to pick up the pieces of her life after the passing of her mother, Betty. After returning to Betty's mountain home, Lisa and her kids get trapped inside of Betty's paintings where her memories come to life. Guide Lisa through hauntingly beautiful paintings while solving puzzles and confronting the shadows of the family’s past. Navigate a journey through grief and towards healing that lingers after the final brushstroke. Features : Hand-drawn 2D environments inspired by Impressionism and Post-Impressionism Environmental puzzles combining platforming, object manipulation, and strategic enemy avoidance Dynamic layer-switching through painting rips to navigate foreground and background Magical paintbrush mechanics to restore broken objects, move platforms, and repaint the world Multiple enemy types with unique behaviors, including patrolling, lurking, and rip-chasing A fully voice-acted, narrative-driven experience told through memories and evolving paintings
