• Out with the circus, in with the oddballs - 25 January 2026

  It's been a while since my last update, and there's good a reason why. first of all, if you didn't know, I released another game collection last month featuring 3 new(ish) games including the full version of Athena's higher-wire, a puzzle game, and another platformer :D but more importantly, this also means that I'm done with Athena's circus. These are some of the first games I have ever made and it's pretty... obvious that most of them haven't aged too well, so all of my small games will go to the new collection for now (The launch options were getting crowded anyway) As for future games and The Hunted Collection, I got some news on that too: Both hunted 1 and hunted 1.5 are done, Only Hunted 2 needs to be finished for the release. There's a new game in development for Samburger's oddballs (Thats the new game collection I mentioned earlier) here's a teaser for that: I'm also working on…

• -THE UNFINISHED UPDATE- 😼😼😼 - 14 October 2025

  I FOUND MY STEAMWORKS ACCOUNT LOGIN!!!!! I have decided to upload two more semi unfinished Athena games to celebrate this grand occasionːsteamhappyːFirst up: The demo for Athena's hire wire! I still haven't finished the full game, so you can just consider this an early build (With high scores that actually save this time)Second up: Athena's Wack a mask!It's... just whack a mole 😔😔😔 Both of these will be expanded on... eventually... Either way I think most people will agree that even as a demo, Athena's higher wire is leagues better than any other Athena game on here. Until next time: Samburger360

• New projects in the works! - 2 July 2025

  HI! first of all, Athena's circus achievements are still going to happen, but I can't make a unified launcher without windows having an aneurism :( Second of all, I'm happy to announce TWO upcoming projects for steam! First of all, Here's a screenshot from the upcoming Athena's Higher wire!It should come to steam in the coming months (Whether it'll be in the circus collection or if it will be its own thing, I don't know) In the meantime, there is a web demo you can play today! Athena's higher wire \As for my second announcement, I'm excited to announce, "The Hunted Collection!"   After yesterday's update, I decided to remake the remaining non-clickteam games (Athena's show and Athena's steamworks).Enjoy!P.S. the pico8 versons are still in the files if you want to try them.

• Athena's wheel & Athena's cannon remakes DONE! - 7 June 2025

  it's a bit late, i know 😅Athena's cannon and Athena's wheel have been FULLY remade in clickteam!not only does the game lose about 200 megabytes, but we also have full compatibility with all modern windows devices (hopefully).aside from that, Athena's cannon has been revamped to now include two cannons.As for the future, I think these will be the final Athena arcade games.there probably will be more games (and maybe more remakes) in the future, but they will be more linear.ALSO, if I end up remaking Athena's steamworks/show, I can put them all in one application, since they all will be made in clickteam then :)

• Upcoming fixes/remakes in development + New game teaser - 14 May 2025

  Hi again :D I have recently found out that two of my games (Athena's wheel & Athena's cannon DX) don't work on certain devices :( after some investigation I think it has to do with the engine I used for those two, specifically PGMMV. with that being said, I have decided to FULLY remake them in Clickteam this coming month, this should fix any compatibility problems as well as allow me to polish them further. (I might also remake Athena's Steamworks/Show, since they didn't age too well imo) ALSO! I have bought another steam game submission, so you might see one of my other series here real soon... • Athena's cannon content update! - 6 April 2025

  About two weeks ago, I made a custom atari 2600 game for newgrounds, but unfortunately I couldn't port it to anything other than web :( (You can play that here! ) So, two days ago, I got to work on a FULL remake with new features Specifically for Steam! (credits to DennisRX for playtesting) Aside from that, I also fixed a bug with Athena's highwire where the controller wouldn't work past level 2. Thanks for playing!
