• Major UI rework - 4 November 2025

  The world of Valhalla Awaits now looks and feels more unified than ever. All scenes have been visually redesigned with a consistent parchment background, creating a cleaner and more immersive look across the entire game. The new layout frames situation-specific art within a smaller, elegant border, making the text easier on the eyes while preserving the unique atmosphere of each moment.Beyond the visual update, I've also implemented a long list of bug fixes, text polish, and general quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Together, these changes make for a smoother and more cohesive experience on your journey from thrall to legend.

• Journal update - 6 August 2025

  Journal Update: You can now review all your past choices by clicking the header at the top of the screen — perfect for catching up on story you might’ve skipped by an accidental click.Character Creation: Couple of minor improvements for a smoother experience.Prologue: Slight polish and a hidden achievement added.Bug Fix: Clicks are no longer registered when the game is inactive — such as during alt+tab or in windowed mode.

• Battle special conditions update - 18 July 2025

  I've just released another small update for the demo! Until now, most battles felt quite similar, and many of you likely stuck with just one weapon. That’s about to change — from now on, many encounters come with special conditions that grant bonuses or penalties to certain skills.For example, fighting in a shield wall formation gives you a bonus to shield and spear skills. So be sure to adapt — swap your weapon to match the situation and make the most of every battle!

• Demo Released - 2 July 2025

  While you wait for the full release, you can enjoy a demo featuring an upgraded UI, improved dialogues, updated tutorial, and plenty of small quality of life changes — like being able to change your equipment while in a shop, making it easier to sell old gear and afford new items.Combat has been rebalanced for a more enjoyable experience, with numerous tweaks to equipment, attacks, and enemies. And of course, countless bugs have been squashed along the way.
