Greetings Cascadiers, We’re super pleased to announce that we have successfully secured funding to continue development until end of February '27! This will allow us to complete development of 'The Cascadier' through early access and finish the game! In our last announcement, we mentioned our goal to find funding while we pause development and it's great that we have secured it and been able to pick up tools to continue development. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more details about our roadmap and how we intend to take the game through to full release. From the start, we have tried to be as transparent as possible with the studio and our funding situation. Our goal was to get The Cascadier in the best shape as possible for Early Access with the limited funding we had. The team worked incredibly hard and we are proud of the game we have produced, however, we are aware the game is not perfect. Greetings Cascadiers,The Cascadier Beta Early Access is now live on Steam, and we welcome you into the Enchanted Arcade with a 20% launch discount. - 14 Days Until Early Access! - 22 May 2026
Greetings Cascadiers, Only 14 days until 'The Cascadier' launches into Early Access! Next week, we reveal our Early Access roadmap including new machines, abilities, infinite mode and lots more. One of the most important milestones is listening to community feedback and implementing features you want to see in the game. We will make sure to keep an eye out for comments and suggestions through Early Access and do our best to make the game feel great to play. With that being said, we want to be transparent with Early Access. There will be bugs you come across upon launch, likely lots of them. - Two NEW Machines and Early Access Date Announcement! - 11 May 2026
Greetings Cascadiers, Early Access begins June 5th and we have more exciting news to share with you in today's community post! We have recently added TWO new machines to the game for the early access release, totalling four machines all with different themes and mechanics. The third machine is 'Earth' inspired, with minecarts on each side that will deliver your coins to the bottom shelf, as well as our 'Final' machine (The machine you would see at the end of the game upon full release) called Showdown, starring Theodan and Fortuna! - Preparing for Early Access! - 6 April 2026
Greetings Cascadiers,The team has been hard at work and have LOADS to share with you on what we have been cooking up over the last few months.We have been testing the game internally and gathering feedback on the current state of the gameplay. We have identified several key mechanics of the game that were not working as intended, so we have spent some time adjusting these and adding more to the game. The main way we wanted players to score points was by pushing coins off the platform to earn tickets, but due to the amount of coins on the platform and the current abilities in the game, we found that not many were being pushed off. In fact, the main way that players would earn coins would be to hit the pegs as the coins fell down, which raised some flags. To tackle this, we decided to remove the points you get from hitting the pegs. We decided that collecting coins is the best way to earn…

Greetings Cascadiers,We've been hard at work adding some pieces to the game that we are really excited to share with you.Alongside a brand new wind-themed level, we have a number of new things to look out for in the demo. You can unlock brand new abilities including one of our favourites: 'Make It Rain' that causes coins to materialise from the sky and rain down on the field.Also we have done an overhaul to the shop and added the ability to upgrade your cards and buy new ones, making your deck even more powerful.+Added Gamepad controls: You can now use a controller to navigate menus and for core gameplay+New music and sounds+New VFX+Loads of bug fixes
