In this update, we've added the new Freshwater Map – Lake, along with 10 brand-new playable species: Electric Eel, Catfish, Koi, Piranha, Mutant Piranha, Snakehead, Archerfish, Alligator Gar, Crayfish, and Bull Shark.Additionally, 7 non-playable species have been introduced.We’ve also specially optimized swimming animations for the Electric Eel and Moray Eel, making their movements more fluid and lifelike.Several bugs have been fixed, and some underperforming abilities have been refined for a smoother gameplay experience.

- Corpse System Overhaul - 5 February 2026
When characters die now, they no longer instantly drop meat loot. Instead, they turn into corpses, which can be directly grabbed using grab mode. Corpses can be bitten to break apart and drop meat loot. For modded creatures that are not yet adapted, they will still drop meat instantly as before.(Tip: Grab mode can be toggled with the R key by default.)

Mod Support: Mod configurations now support skill adjustments. Creature mods are unlocked by default without any unlock conditions.
