  Hail, adventurers! Patch 1.1.0 marks the first major content update for Legends of Old, and with it comes the unveiling of a mysterious new region: The Tangled Vale. A wild and overgrown land long forgotten, the Vale now stirs with life—and danger. What secrets lie buried among the ruins? Only those who survive will know! Ready your blades, for adventure awaits! The Tangled Vale is a new zone available from level 4 onwards, but with some content only relevant to endgame. Included in the patch are Four New Monster Types to do battle with - The Ancient Treants, the Sylvan Wardens, the Bipedal Shrillers, and a new secret monster!   The following is a large patch which significantly overhauls certain portions of the game. If you've been waiting to create an alt, now's a good time to do so! - The way named loot is obtained has been significantly overhauled. Previously, each ‘race’ of monster had its own shared loot pool. This was problematic for many reasons, and limited our ability to place named monsters around. Now, every named mob in the game has its own unique loot table. - Added many new named monsters to be found, each with their own unique loot table. - Added over 150 items to the game, including a ton of ROG base types. These new base types include weapons spanning the entirety of the leveling process, and will help players make incremental upgrades as they progress.   - Tremor has gone on a rampage and may have opened up new areas down in the caves he resides in... - Added Floating Text Widgets for Parry, Block, and Evade, to better signal when the player has performed these actions.   - Windlace (Haste) has been rebalanced. Its haste value has been reduced, as it previously left little room for Agility to meaningfully impact attack speed. To compensate, Agility now has a significantly stronger effect on attack speed. The fastest attack speeds from before are still achievable when pairing high agility + Windlace, but solo players will no longer be heavily penalized for lacking an Elementalist to cast Windlace on them. - Rogues have had their Melee Damage increased significantly.   Over the past week, we’ve shared several patch notes in our Discord server. However, we understand that not everyone is active there and have heard the community’s feedback. Moving forward, all patch notes will be posted both on Discord and on Steam to ensure everyone stays informed. Thank you for your continued support! The crafting bench has been improved in functionality. Previously, it would return a random base type regardless of what you were disenchanting. Now, the items you input have an affect on the outcome. Inputting a majority of weapons will return a weapon, with similar functionality for armor or "accessories". We intend to improve this system further in the future where two swords yields a sword, two bracers yields a bracer, and so on.
