  NEW GUN: Dragunov SVD with PSO-1 Scope New Features:Weapon swapping is now 2x faster by default, using tactical sling makes it 4x faster, near instant and it feels really goodCombo timer now decreases as the combo bonus increases!Bugs Fixed:Fixed targets collisions being larger than the target itselfBullet time and other powerups no longer remain active when restarting a run or exiting to the menusCrouching at high speed no longer stops player instantlySmall Stuff:Reload bar is always green if using Belicoso cigarImproved shotgun reloading mechanics- can be reloaded quickerRifle projectiles now have a flatter trajectory I have been a little tied up with work but that hasn't stopped me from adding in a rifle that has been on my to do list from the very beginning.   NEW GUN: The Scout This week I worked on getting everyone's 2nd favorite sniper rifle from Counter Strike added to Biathlon Challenge! I am still working on getting it balanced with the rest of the arsenal.You can expect a few more guns coming. Have a suggestion for one? Let me know what I should add next!

• Speed Boost & Projectile Performance Update - 8 January 2026

  New Features:- Speed Boost added when stunts are landed successfully, boost intensity is determined by stunt control stat at this time Bugs Fixed:- Performance optimization on all projectile types, no more laggy shotguns- Shotgun hit registration at point blank range has been improved- Conc grenades no longer trigger already downed targetsMinor Stuff:- New, additional gear movement sounds, board grab sounds Work continues!   New Features:- Added 4 new grab stunts bringing the total to 8! Combine these with flips/spins for unique scoring opportunities!- Tutorial access is in a new, more obvious locationBugs Fixed:- Fixed grab stunts giving points when beefing it- Starting line icons properly disappear when far away from them nowMinor Stuff:- Lots of geometry fixes on tutorial and world 0 courses- Gun animation improvements- Reset saved game data.   Wrapping up 2025 with a big win — a long-standing bug is finally squashed. Huge thanks to everyone who’s helped playtest Biathlon Challenge this year. Your feedback has genuinely transformed the game, and 2025 has been a massive step forward. With this milestone behind us, the focus now shifts to the next big goal: a polished public demo. New Feature: - Perfect mid-air reloads are now handled as a stunt and can be combo'd - Rotation stunts now have a wider margin of error for all characters Bugs fixed:-Rotation snapping when landing stunts has finally been fixed. (For real this time)Small Stuff:-Performance optimizations in all World 0 courses -Improved mesh culling should result in higher framerates More updates coming soon as we push toward the demo.
