- Release 0.10.0 - Lower the floor - 7 September 2026
The Crimson Contract: Update 0.10.0 This is the biggest update we've shipped. Full controller support is in, enemy dossiers now introduce each type as you meet it, and a long pass on early difficulty should make the opening rounds far less punishing. There's also a new Town outro, new consumables, and a pile of multiplayer fixes. What's New Town Hard now ends with a proper outro scene, so clearing the last quarantine zone actually feels like finishing something. New stamina and health consumables that change your recharge rate and recharge delay. Some are unlocked from the start instead of sitting behind gates. Enemy dossiers now reveal each zombie type the moment you first meet it, with a summary card, a countdown to the next one, and a Skip All that clears the whole batch. Patches gets a proper introduction. HQ sends in a medical unit after the Cabin incident. Squad scores now appear…
- Patch 0.9.4 - Cinematic Stability, Co-Op, and UI - 17 July 2026
The Crimson Contract: Patch 0.9.4Patch 0.9.4 is mostly co-op cleanup. Cutscenes that only played correctly for the host, a lobby that stacked everyone onto one spawn point, and earnings that refused to reset between runs. There's also a new spectator camera for when you go down, and better feedback for when you're getting chewed on. We ship updates regularly, so keep the reports coming. What's New Downed spectator camera. When you go down with no self-revives left, you can now cycle the camera through your surviving squadmates and NPC operatives instead of staring at the dirt. Q and E on keyboard, bumpers on a controller. The camera comes back to your body the moment someone starts reviving you. Taking a hit now bleeds red in from the edges of the screen, scaled to how hard you got hit. A big hit reads as a big hit, and the effect lingers while you're running on low health. Improvements…
- Patch 0.9.3 - Weapon Buff + Core Loop Update - 7 July 2026
The Crimson Contract: Patch 0.9.3 Patch 0.9.3 is a big cleanup pass on multiplayer, enemy AI, and the squad helicopter drop, plus a major weapon rebalance and a stack of quality-of-life changes from recent playtests and streamer feedback. We ship updates regularly, so keep the reports coming. What's New New between-wave breather: after each wave clears, a short pause lets you grab cash and loot before the next wave starts, with an HQ radio call warning you that more are inbound. Balance & Tuning Big weapon rebalance. Early and mid-tier guns (handguns, SMGs, auto rifles, the LMG, and the hunting rifle) hit noticeably harder so they stay viable instead of every run funneling into shotguns. The .357 revolver in particular is now the hardest-hitting single pistol. Rebalanced what enemies drop. Hounds no longer drop heavy tactical gear (airstrikes, drones, sentries, mines, nukes), and runner…
