  Hi! It’s been a while.In this new patch I addressed various things that have been bugging me for some time, especially after watching various playthroughs on YouTube.GameplayOverall, this update focuses on balancing the difficulty, which I felt was a bit too forgiving. Nothing revolutionary, but the changes should be noticeable.Ammo drop rate further reduced.Final boss health has been buffed. The poor guy didn’t pose much of a threat for most players.Added a few more enemies.Removed some shotgun ammo.Bug FixesThe torch is no longer equippable in the quick bar. • Hotfix - OLT v.1.6 - 1 October 2025

  Hi! Recently, I received a report about a nasty bug: icons of discovered objects and opened doors were not persisting across save/load, as mentioned in a recent post.I wanted to address this quickly since it significantly affects gameplay and the overall experience, so I’m releasing a small patch that focuses solely on this fix.I also fixed a minor issue where some door icons appeared incorrectly rotated on the map.NOTE: Since the core issue was that the discovered state of objects was not being saved, I cannot unfortunately retroactively fix this for existing saves. Object discovery persistence will only work for new saves (including ongoing playthroughs, as long as you rediscover the puzzle/object and save again: it will then be stored correctly).

  Given some user's feedback in this version I introduced some new settings:Invert axis option (horizontal and vertical) for both gamepad and mouseExperimental input mapping (only for keyboard and mouse) In the meantime One Last Toast got enough reviews to get the summary score next to the title. Which is a great milestone for this project! A big big Thank You to everyone who took a moment to leave a review. It means the world to me. I am currently planning the next update where I'd like to introduce some little extra content. Keep an eye on this page. 🍷

  In this version I addressed some bugs that might cause a soft lock and I tweaked other minor things.GameplayReduced pain/stun chance for BepiReduced ammo spawn chance of exploding enemiesBug FixesRemove Washing Machine with Shotgun Ammo in Basement. You could get soft locked if you used all existing Detergents on this one, before you could get the key. I also removed extra detergents/softener items around the map leaving only the ones that are actually needed to progress.   I have had the chance to look at footage of someone playing the game on Youtube! While delighted, I noticed a series of things I didn't really like.So, here's a small update.GameplayZombie drop probability reduced to ~1%. They only drop pistol ammo and by the end of the game you will end with too much.Repositioned shield-giver minions during final fight. Some were way too hard to hit.Bug fixesKitchen elevator now allows you to dismount when taken to go up. It used to get stuck, locking you in the basement area until further progress was made.Fixed studio map floor showing an area bigger than the actual room when highlighted on the map.Allow to use up 6 keyboard shortcuts - 1 for each equippable weapon (it was limited to 3, causing some confusion when you'd collect more than 3).VariousAdded the Vault to the map. Used to be a generic "Storage".Until the next time!

  I am releasing this hotfix mainly to address a game-crashing bug reported by Shiba (many thanks for reporting this). Since I was at it, I cleaned and polished a few more things.Below is the list of all the changes.Bug fixesAdded a guard to prevent Pig Bepi from crashing the game when de-spawning under certain conditionsClean up bomb fields (an intended effect of exploding molotovs) after a few seconds, to prevent them from accumulating indefinitelyAllow molotovs to actually scare Pig Bepi away like other weaponsFixed collision setup that would allow molotovs to damage enemies behind certain wallsPrevent player from dying if it gets hit after a boss is defeatedCosmetic changesEnsure that player weapon is invisible in cutscene that didn't hide it correctlyThank you for your reports, they help me deliver a better experience for everyone!
