• Fear the Timeloop - Prologue Update 1.0.9 and Thoughts on the Future - 5 July 2025

  Thanks to your feedback, we’ve added a number of improvements in the new version of the game and have also written down notes for ourselves that we will listen to and improve upon in the full version. First, here are the Prologue updates: Added Hungarian language support. Special thanks to Dezső Tompa 'NightVison' and Ákos Radó 'Arzeen' for their help. Abilities are now saved even after death. The more the pistol’s crosshair is tightened, the higher the damage dealt to enemies. We’ve disabled Lumen by default, but it remains available for players with powerful GPUs. Added X and Y axis inversion options. That’s it for the next round of Prologue updates for now. We’re working to keep improving its quality, but we also want to focus on the main game so it will be more enjoyable for you to play.   We’ve added two new options to the game settings that will allow you to run the game with a more stable frame rate. Added the ability to switch the graphics API from DirectX12 to Vulkan; Added the ability to disable global illumination (Lumen/RTX);

  Hey everyone! We’re continuing to improve the gameplay — in Patch 1.0.3 we’ve made a few important changes: Fixed door physics — doors no longer slam shut and now work more reliably. Added enemy corpses before their first appearance — now enemies don’t just materialize out of nowhere, but rise from bodies that are already lying around, making the atmosphere more realistic.   The 1.0.2 update is now live! We’ve taken many of your suggestions into account and fixed a number of in‑game issues. Here’s a list of what’s been fixed: Added additional lighting to the room with the shotgun puzzle;Fixed errors with the Japanese language;Added Simplified Chinese;Added extra text prompts for doors that are closed with a latch;Added an additional message when using the Second Life ability;Fixed an issue where the watch for checking the remaining time was not received;The vignette indicating low health is now less noticeable;Added more options for gameplay/aim sensitivity;

  Over this short time since the release of the prologue, we’ve been gathering your feedback and decided to release a small update that fixes some bugs and adds new features to the game: Added mouse sensitivity settings for both regular gameplay and aiming; The shotgun now always knocks enemies back; A headshot with a pistol now slows enemies down for 1–2 seconds; Added a heartbeat volume slider; Fixed repeating text in the ability tooltip; Removed the “Confirm” prompt in the UI for the locked locker in the Locker Room; Thank you so much for sharing your impressions with us!
