WOWSERS PRETTY ːsteamhappyː We have been working on the new lighting system for months. Now all trees in the game will react to your flashlight (or any light source) Performance GTX 1080 @1080p = 70fps in a worst case scenario with two players running around casting lights at different angles with multiple trees. 7800 XT @1440p = 130 fps in the same scenario. Disappointed in these numbers? we are too. Performance will be improved. Limitations Currently only works on trees ːsteamthumbsdownː but for now we feel like that is good enough. Performance is not great ... We know why it is slow, and know ways to improve it, just that everything takes time... Also all lights are currently circular. Good news The lighting gives the game character and now it looks much less flat ːsteamthumbsupː hopefully you agree :)
