Short description
Who are the Ghosts of Ancient Io? You’ll find out when a chill intergalactic trip turns into a slightly retro single-player platform survival adventure filled with puzzles to solve, aliens to befriend, and a giant fire-breathing slug named Ember.
About this game
Set in the distant future Ghosts of Ancient Io centers around two main characters: The Professor whom you play and your friend The Doctor whom you eventually find and rescue. Using an ancient mining pod you navigate the ancient moon in search of your friends and the way out. Navigate the ancient interior of Jupiter’s moon Io. Maneuver both your pod and your mind past unique puzzles as you work your way to the surface. Meet both the dangerous and the friendly life that’s evolved to live inside the caverns of the hostile moon. Scavenge what you can from the ancient mining outpost or exploit the strange alien ecosystem to get what you need to carry on. Ghosts of Ancient Io is a chill arcade-like experience with no complex inventory management or elaborate quests to complete. It’s a great game for content creators who don’t typically game but would like to add that experience to their live streams. Player are invited to enjoy: Original soundtrack.
