• New steam page cover, a pretty big update to the demo & progress report - 11 September 2026

  I have made a new pretty cool poster for the steam page, here it is in all it's glory!I have also released a new update for the game's demo!Buried Demo Version 1.0.9 Patch NotesRemade the entire intro section to serve more as a tutorial.Added smoking.Added the chainsaw.Small changes to the main level.Small changes in how the soldier enemies behave around the level.Buffed up the sword a bit more and fixed an audio bug it had.How is progress on the full game going?It's going good! I'm about 80-85% done with it and after that I will have a final private playtesting phase and then it's ready for you all! If I'm in luck the game will probably release somewhere in November/December this year. Stay tuned!

• Buried Demo Version 1.0.8 Patch Notes - 22 August 2026

  Added animated doom-like main character face to the HUD that changes based on how much HP you have.Added a square in the HUD that shows your Bullet Time ability's status.Removed some settings that could break the game from the settings menu.The game now starts windowed with a lower resolution by default to prevent the game not fitting the screen of some players. This can easily be changed according to preference in the settings menu.The game also starts with higher graphic settings by default but this can also be changed easily to improve performance.Added hurt animation to Bull enemy and made it's hitbox a bit bigger.Fixed shotgun muzzle not being properly synced with the animation.Changed how ammo is divided in the HUD for it to make more sense.Made sword's heavy attack wind up animation shorter.Boosted the sword's main attack's damage a bit.Made every pick up including keycards a bit…

• Chapter 2 is done! - 17 March 2026

  Chapter 2 out of 3 of the upcoming full game is finally done and now in a playtesting phase. This means that with only one chapter left until the full release, the game might release later this year!In the meantime here are a few random screenshots from chapter 2.   Fixed a bug that allowed you to dash upwards and leave the map.There is another known bug with the Bullet Time mechanic. If you die while using it you get stuck for a little while in slow motion. I will probably fix this in the next update. In other news, progress is going great with the full game and I'm very close to finishing chapter 2.

• Demo is finally out on Steam! - 12 February 2026

  If there is popular demand I may post more screenshots and clips of the game's progress. The final game will be comprised of three chapters with multiple levels each and at the time of writing I have finished one of them and half of the second, so unfortunately you still gotta wait a bit for the full release.The Demo is still a bit rough as a lot of things are work in progress.Thanks to everyone for playing!My YouTube channel where I may post more clips of the game in the future when I don't post other random stuff :D : You can also find the Demo's soundtrack on there!
