Over the past months, we’ve taken a hard look at Dfiance and at ourselves as a team. We made mistakes. A lot of them.From changing the engine, through core gameplay structure, to the rules behind specific mechanics, we tried to change too many things at once. That rush cost us clarity and stability, and the results showed.We’ve learned from it.Dfiance is now going through a full remake, focused on fixing the problems that came from that haste. Systems are being rebuilt with clear goals, stronger foundations, and much more care. This work is also part of a bigger step forward as we continue development under the VoidSpark brand.The new version of Dfiance is planned for 2026. We’ll share more as things solidify.
