Aetherfall is a third-person elemental post-apocalypse RPG extraction shooter set in a world where elemental energy has replaced technology. After a meteor strike known as the Aetherfall , aether flooded the planet, disrupting electricity, weapons, and infrastructure. Cities collapsed into unstable elemental hotspots, now dominated by mutated creatures that have adapted—and evolved. Human survivors live on the outskirts, forming small communities in the wilderness. To survive, they venture into the ruins, relying on elemental martial arts instead of guns, and aether instead of machines. Four Core Elements. Nine Total Elements Fire, Earth, Air, and Water form the foundation of all combat. These elements don’t exist in isolation—when they collide, they combine into new elemental forms , creating a total of nine distinct elements with unique effects and interactions. Every fight is shaped by how elements meet, merge, and transform. Martial Arts & Elemental Combat Combat is fast, physical, and expressive. Channel aether through martial techniques to unleash elemental projectiles, powerful melee strikes, movement abilities, and area attacks.
