• PlayStation emulator Bleem will soon be a Steam competitor selling retro games - 13 January 2021

  If you're a modern PC gamer looking for a PlayStation emulator, you might be looking for something like Mednafen or ePSXe. But back in the day, we had Bleem - a piece of commercial software released in the late 90s that directly competed against Sony's own hardware. Well, Bleem will soon be back as the name of a new PC storefront aimed at selling you legal, emulated versions of obscure old games . As you might suspect, this entity is pretty much Bleem in name only. Piko Interactive has picked up the rights to the obscure bit of videogame history for its new store and custom emulation wrapper. Piko has already been producing plenty of stuff for the retro gaming community, including a selection of reproduction carts for various consoles. • 1.3.3 Update - 13 October 2016

  The long overdue patch release is finally here. No big features, but this fixes some major issues that some people have been experiencing with the released version. Here are the Noah3D specific changes for this release: Level 4-1's ending is cosmetically modified to remove the only unmarked mandatory secret in the game. For new players, the game now defaults to SNES scale feeders since a common complaint was the large sprites despite it being an option in the menu. On first run users are prompted to press a key or button on their controller to select input type. This avoids drifting when people left a gamepad plugged in and didn't intend to use it. Default resolution changed to a 16:9 aspect ratio. Menu no longer gives the option to increase the screen size such that the status bar is removed since it caused confusion. Fixed some typos in the in game manual. Changes to Steam integration…

• S3DNA DOS Source Code Reconstructed - 28 August 2015

  As some of you may know, the original source code to the DOS version of Super 3D Noah's Ark was lost. The product released here is based on reverse engineering and reimplementation upon a modern rendition of the Wolfenstein 3D game engine. A buddy of mine NY00123, however, utilizing the research done for this port along with debugging symbols that he discovered were left in the original game executable managed to recreate the original source code for the game (modulo comments of course)! If you're in the area come hear the story of Wisdom Tree and get any of your burning questions answered! http://azgameonexpo.com/panels I originally wanted to announce this along side the 1.3.3 update, but there are some changes in my life at the moment that are making it inconvienant to do the release at this particular moment. I apologize for the delay, but I don't like doing releases when I'm unsure about my availability to patch any critical issue in the deployment that may occur. When it comes out though, It will solve issues people are having with using Steam broadcasting, make cloud saving more resilient to crashing, as well as make adjustments to make the game work better for people without having to tweak the options.

• Launch delay - 11 June 2015

  At the request of Valve, the launch of the game on Steam has been delayed until the 23rd. This decision is primarily based on launch visibility rather than needing the extra time for any reason. I will still be releasing the update for the engine and on itch.io on the 18th, so hopefully this will allow the launch to go smoother as well. In the mean time, since I know some of you were waiting patiently for a key for the game: Instructions are posted on how to get a Steam key if you've previously purchased the game directly from us.
