The theatre begins with the cloakroom… but only once you’ve bought it. Your opera house has seen better days: a worn façade, silence in the foyer, and discarded costumes gathering dust in the storeroom. You are the new manager, tasked with restoring its former glory. Recruit a troupe, collect scores, build rehearsal halls, and most importantly — stage operas that will go down in history. Scores — the Heart of Every Performance Each opera in the game is represented by a score. It contains all the essential information: number of acts, voice types, required instruments, set and costume needs. Mastering the score allows you not only to cast the right performers, but also to plan your budget and logistics with precision. Building and Organizing the Theatre In Theatre Tycoon , your theatre is built from the ground up — from rehearsal spaces to the grand stage. You’ll design working areas, including: Rehearsal rooms — for staging scenes Vocal studios — for training singers Scenery workshop — for building set pieces Costume department — for tailoring garments Storage — for large and later antique instruments Casting: Build a Unique Troupe Hiring in Theatre Tycoon is a creative process. Announce auditions for singers or musicians of specific profiles. Review candidates, each with their own skills, experience, and personality. The final decision is yours. Every audition brings you closer to a stronger troupe — and a triumphant premiere. Real-Time Performances A premiere is not the final report — it’s a trial by fire.
