  Hey everyone,Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you all well. It's been a little while since I last updated you all on what's the current progress of Shadow of the Yokai. Well, I've currently released an update to the demo (Version 2.5). I've included further; bug fixes, fixes to typos, controller-input fixes, game re-balancing, audio-adjustments, and additional mechanics such as now being able to throw enemies when they are grabbed.As for the current state of the finished game, I should be on track to have in finished in 2026. I've been working on adding additional environments (Jungle, Stone Dungeons, and Snowy Blizzards), traps (Buzzsaws and Fire-traps), enemies (Bosses, Bats, Spiders), and goals/puzzles. Other miscellaneous inclusions are also in the works such as; Further settings adjustments, Teleporting portals, Various gadgets (blow-dart, caltrops, bombs), and more level…

  Hey all!This is the first announcement I've made on 'Shadow of the Yokai' and I just wanted to express a great deal of gratitude to all those who participated in playing my demo for Next Fest and giving feedback. Next Fest may be over, but the demo will continue to be live and supported with new updates as I continue to further tweak any issues and make edits according to player feedback. I've already made substantial changes to game balancing with weapons, bug fixes, and made the game more comprehensive and user-friendly.
