Three hundred years after the event which they now call Impact. Humanity has overcome the plague and put together shattered pieces of civilization. It is now entering a new age. A golden age of culture and technology for some. A deceptive age of decadence for others. You tell them that it's the result of traveling to the black zone, to the site of the first Impact. The infection changed your skin forever, you say. But there's no truth to it. You were never human. An outcast, a freak, anyone who doesn't scream for the Inquisition to come is your ally.
