- What if I will give you Public Beta release? - 17 July 2026
Hello everyone! I'm still in progress with overhaul, but I'm starting to think to replace the old bad game version with new... But it would be as Beta version basically, since the game is still free to play there is nothing to lose right? But you would get access for new version and all its new content. Currently the version does not have any of the main story part (no levels) as its still in development and modeling. Currently the game has 2 pvp modes where you can play with friends and have fun: - King Of The Hill - fight for the crown and have fun with friends by pushing around! - Waves mode (Containment) - stay alive with the friends as long as you can! The game is still in progress and might have bugs which is fully normal for the current state, the game will be receiving updates and changes with improvements, the only thing which would be really nice to get feedback on what improv…
- Development Insights - Dev Log - 27 June 2026
Hello everyone! Its always nice to keep you updated on the progress, at least you know what to expect and if the game development progress is ongoing. So far I'm focusing on Tutorial part, which will help you understand the game and how it works, how systems works, what to expect from game and rest. During the development of each system, I didn't wanted to recreate from what was done in Unity and give a fully new approach, different design, which changed game totally. As you may read previous Dev log about tutorial level, so you are already know what is waiting. Additionally I do some internal tests with multiplayer, as its kinda critical for me that everything would be replicated properly, but as usual, doing many things alone is hard. But so far replication is working and I haven't faced any issues atm (but the game still needs to be went and found all possible bugs that I could fix t…
- Dev Log - Tutorial Level - 24 June 2026
This time I want to share some insights from the overhaul, but covering the Tutorial level. And yes I know in previous version I haven't added tutorial (which obviously would be better, but it is as it is now...) Tutorial will cover all game mechanics and systems (Walking, Running, Jumping, interacting and more), that everyone could understand how the game works and what to expect. So covering a bit with Tutorial... Where to start... You will get board with information shortly explaining the game mechanics. No longer additional UI for Objectives/Chat/Map and etc (like there will be no phone this time). You will get your current objective top right on your screen and 3 slots to put items in pockets. Additionally all items (pickupable, carryables (yes there will be item carrying too this time)) will be properly outlined(highlighted) so you will not miss it for sure. Additionally you will…
- Dev Log - Overhaul of the game is in Progress - 16 June 2026
Hello everyone! I hope everyone read the last news in here, so you already know that the game is being reworked from scratch in Unreal Engine. I wanted to give some insights of work in progress, what is happening behind the scenes... Since many are lost in the game and tries to find out what to do, how everything works and etc. So this time you will be able to play through Tutorial level, which will help you to understand the game. The game development progress is moving, this time we want to cover as much as possible with custom models in game, that shows the whole game style. UI was stylized in a different view than it was on Unity. No longer phone for map, chat, objectives. Instead you will have on primary screen for everything. Inventory is no longer set to keep 9 items, its reduced to max 3. Objectives also will be shown in same UI. No more NVG system, switched to Flashlight, but n…
- From Experiment to Rebuild - 25 May 2026
Hello everyone! Its been a bit silent from me, but I was silently checking and watching what is on-going. I do really appreciate for negative feedback's and positive feedback's, as they give me more insights of what people wants to see more and expect. First of all, I want to say thank you for all the feedback — both positive and negative. Every review, comment, and reaction gave me a better understanding of what players expected from the game, what worked, and what clearly needed to be improved. As a solo developer, one of my goals with the early access was to release the game earlier like a demo, without any marketing and see how players will react to it. I wanted to understand what people would enjoy, what things could confuse them and what type of horror experience people would expect from the game. Originally the game was designed around exploration, observation and trying to figur…
- Mannequin Syndrome is Now Available in Early Access — Free To Play! - 5 May 2026
# Mannequin Syndrome is Now Available in Early Access — Free To Play! Hey everyone, After thinking about it for a long time, I finally made the decision to release **Mannequin Syndrome** as a **Free To Play** game. This was not an easy choice, but I wanted to make something that people can try, enjoy, and play together with friends without worrying about buying into it first. Mannequin Syndrome is a co-op horror game built around tension, objectives, teamwork, and of course... mannequins that should probably stay where they are. The game is now releasing in **Early Access** with the first finished Facility level. This level includes a full objective flow from start to extraction. Use the in-game phone to check your objectives, work together, survive the facility, execute the final task, and extract before things get worse. ## What is included right now? - First full Facility level - Com…

Quality of Life improvements across the board Play solo… or bring friends into the chaosThe real question is:Will you be able to execute the shutdown process… before they adapt?

- Playtest is opening! - 20 December 2025
Hey everyone! After the last devlogs and some progress on the gameplay and core systems, I would like to take the next step and open a Playtest for the game... My main goal of this playtest is a feedback and bug reports. You may note that the game is not polished fully yet and its not a finished demo (pretty much close to demo maybe) At the playtest gameplay and its current stage, I'm very interested in things like: - How the starting core idea of the game feels for you - How the map environment, atmosphere feels in the game - Does the objective part is clear and you pretty much understand what to do - How the current mannequin behavior comes across in gameplay - How multiplayer works outside of local side or small amount of people testing - How the game performance is There are even more things that I would like to cover, but I will leave this all to you. Also you should note that some…
- DevLog #2 - What is happening behind the scenes - 13 December 2025
Hey hey everyone! Some more behind the scenes work-in-progress that is happening ːsteamhappyː The game is also being additionally tested on Steam Deck and I can verify its working! There is no default layout set, but there is already one created by me that will be official layout for the game. Of course gameplay content is being in works, but maybe its me, that I want to make it better before proceeding with the next part of gameplay content, I'm giving basically everyone a possibility to play this game in the current state, since it has already a full playable level with the first full objective flow what to do and escape. If you want to be a part of playtesting, feel free to reach me out in discord!Next thing.. I've been thinking on how to make visual part when player is caught so one of my approaches is separated scene for that moment You are the judges for that if you like it or not…
- DevLog #1 - 7 December 2025
Hello everyone! It’s been a while since the last update, but the game has been progressing quietly behind the scenes. A lot has changed, a lot has improved, and now I’m finally considering opening the first public playtests so you can try the current state of the game yourselves. My plan is to finish making the entire first level fully playable from start to finish, and once it's ready, I’ll let you jump in and test it while I continue working on the next levels. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about level flow, how players progress, how the puzzles should feel, and how to keep the whole experience replayable—not too easy, not too hardcore… well, maybe just a tiny bit hardcore. 😄---Multiplayer StatusMultiplayer already works! There are still bugs, of course, but nothing game-breaking. Most of them only affect the client side and are mostly visual. Gameplay itself is pretty much stable…
