  ITS BEEN EVEN LONGER, HASN’T IT? To me, these last two months have been even longer yet even shorter than ever before. Sometimes its been some of the the worst times of my life, sometimes its been some of the best times of my life. Everything is confusing and weird. Despite all this, I've been doing really good!BORING GAME UPDATE: I’ve completely restructured how I’m handling development. I’m trying to develop a rough version of the game from beginning to end. Beforehand, I made the game area-by-area which is insane in hindsight. For this rough version I’m using temporary assets, but all of the programming (and 50% of the script) is final. I should have done this from the start, LOL.(This means the first half of the game is 90% done, while the second half is aiming to be 50% and fully playable + locked in before the end of the year.) • FEBRUARY UPDATE - 10 February 2026

  ITS BEEN A WHILE, HASN’T IT. These last two months have been the longest- yet also shortest- months of my life. I’m bewildered by the amount of attention hitogata has been getting. I sincerely thought about 20 people would play the demo, not like, THIS MANY. All of the feedback means SO MUCH like you have no idea. GAME UPDATE: It’s so scary to show anything off because I want the experience of the full game to be as blind and spoiler free as possible. HOWEVER… I’ll oblige. • DEMO IS OUT NOW! - 19 December 2025

  WELL WELL WELL! THE DEMO IS OFFICALLY OUT ON STEAM! GO PLAY IT! (if you wanna…..)To mark the occasion, let me say a few things!hitogata as a game started off as a story idea, which became a comic idea, which became a game by accident. I’m (MOSTLY) making it mostly on my own, with my wonderful friends pitching in and assisting (check out @leylenangel and @LOBOTOLOID and @RobotChimpG on twitter!!). The fact the game got this far is still blowing my mind. I was driven to make something that appealed to me in every single way and I’m glad to see it click other people!!Currently, the game is JUST over half done (outside of redo's, polishing, bugs, bonus content, etc). If you want a release date: I genuinely have no idea. Think of the farthest possible release date you can muster and multiply that by 1000.   IMPORTANT UPDATE - The demo on steam has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. However, you can play it right now on itch.io!!hitogata (DEMO) by keibetsuu-Hello! I’m excited to announce that the demo will be releasing on the 16th of December! The amount of work me + the team have put into the game this past year has been INSANE and I’m oh-so-proud of how it is turning out.The demo is planned to cover 1/5th of the full game, but I doubt that’ll stick. Hitogata has always been envisioned as a game that starts slow- but then evolves into a full sprint foaming at the mouth monster by the end. So I hope you enjoy.Once the demo comes out, I’ll try to have a proper update on the state of the game and even show off a few small things. SO STAY TUNED FOR THAT!
