- Update notes for 1.07 - 31 August 2026
Greetings, Guildmasters! Hope you're having fun! This is just a small update to deal with some minor graphical glitches that were reported to us. Thank you for your support, it always helps. Best of luck, guildmasters!
- Update notes for 1.06 - 23 June 2026
Greetings, Guildmasters! We put together this minor update to address some font display issues and minor graphical quirks, as well as the usual QoL tweaks. We also implemented Steam Rich Presence messages, so your friends can know how far along you are while you play. We hope to implement any relevant changes to the demo as well in preparation for the upcoming Steam Sales. Your feedback and support has been really important to the game. Thank you all. Best of luck, guildmasters!
- First major update! Not an April Fools. - 1 April 2026
Greetings, guildmasters! We have received a lot of feedback from players and we decided to put in some time to address issues people were having with progressing through the game by implementing an interactive Tutorial at the beginning of runs that will teach new players how rerolling, monster skills, Lucky Numbers and TRICKs work. We hope this will make the introduction to the game more of a frictionless experience. Completely skippable if you're a veteran. Besides the tutorial, there was something we tackled in this update based on your feedback: a major overhaul regarding difficulty. We heard a lot of people wanting to use TRICKs more often, or struggling to progress after a particularly unlucky battle, be unable to upgrade characters to keep up with the challenges they faced... so we went through the game and adjusted it to make Normal Mode easier to go through, by ensuring players…
- Minor bugfixing - v1.04 - 25 February 2026
Greetings, guildmasters! This one is just a minor patch to fix a bug resulting from the previous update that could lead to a crash on the Night Market Trick menu. Should be all good for now! Best of luck, guildmasters!
- Minor QoL update - v1.03 - 23 February 2026
Greetings, guildmasters! We received good feedback during the weekend, and got immediately at it early on Monday to bring you this update. Mostly it involves minor bugfixing regarding the control reminders on some scenes, audio fixes and a couple quality of life changes with Trick management. Nothing that affects gameplay in any significant manner, but should make the experience smoother overall. We are also including the .NET Desktop Runtime with Windows builds after seeing some players need to download it separately. As usual, please let us know about any issues or suggestions you have. We might not be able to implement everything, but our goal is to keep on making Dungeon Trail better. Best of luck, guildmasters!
- Minor update - v1.02 - 21 February 2026
Greetings, guildmasters! We have received the first wave of feedback and got the impression some of the descriptions could be clearer, so we worked a little on those. Nothing major, but we want to make sure the mechanics are easy to parse and lead to no confusion; thinking about how to cheat at dice should be the only concern on your minds. We appreciate the support and will keep working hard to make the adventure smoother! Best of luck, guildmasters.
- Day 1 Patch - v1.01 - 19 February 2026
Greetings, guildmasters! Today we released the full game, and have been playing it a lot. We hope you're enjoying your adventures too. While playing through the live build, it came to our attention that some achievements were not unlocking as intended, and so we are releasing a small patch to remedy that. It will not interfere with any save data and if you were affected by the issues, it should award your account the achievements immediately upon loading a run where they'd be appropriate. If you have any feedback for us, please let us know. Best of luck, guildmasters!
- Demo v1.02 is up, now also on Steam Deck! - 2 December 2025
Hey there, we hope you're enjoying your dice rolling adventure. We decided to spend a little while longer to test out a new mechanic, rebalance the game and offer bugfixes to minor issues that were made evident through testing, both in-house and thanks to the community. For the spiciest thing in this update: Lucky Numbers are the new element we added to the game. After getting a round of feedback that made it clear the most fun people were having with the game involved "gambling", we decided to leave one more thing up to fate: whenever you go to choose an Adventurer for your party, from the get-go or one of the Taverns, they'll have one number they're attuned to: that number will count as a 7 in specific situations, generally leading to more damage to enemies, healing more during HEAL events and avoinding damage in TRAP events better. Enemies were rebalanced to reflect that extra damage…
