- Drywall 1.3.1 - Steam Deck Verified! - 2 March 2026
Minor patch to get us Steam Deck Verified! (We were already running well on it before, but now we got the fancy green badge now.) Text on some menus made a smidgen bigger.Controller navigation improved in some menus.Game will change screen resolution to Steam Deck's if it detects the player is on the device.Settings file was being included in Steam Cloud - no longer the case. Settings may still update from the cloud on your next launch, but after that they'll only be per-device.

Hi everyone! We have a big patch for Drywall Eating Simulator that cleans up the last of the reported bug issues and adds a few new features! This is probably going to be the last major content update for Drywall as we move onto our next project. (There's still one or two things left we want to add, but don't want to make any promises we'll be able to get them soon.) We'll keep an eye out for any bugs still, and do maintenance patches when needed.Thank you one last time to everyone who has supported us so far, and those who will in the future.

Hi everyone! Studio head Jax here, we're officially back from break, we've been going through the forums and discord to see what remaining bugs people are dealing with, and have a handful of fixes that should take care of them. We're only planning one more big patch early next week to get us verified on Steam Deck (though the game runs fine from our tests and feedback!) but we're going to still be looking for any blockers people are experiencing.Thank you so much for everyone who's supported us! We had no idea what to expect when we launched this thing, and seeing everyone's takes and reactions have been hugely motivating for us to keep going and making more games in the future. I don't really know when or what or how we'll come back but we are going to do our best to return with more games in the future. :)Anyway - BUGFIXES:Player physics pass, no more floating in the stairs in the off…

The last update broke interactions with glass doors (and a couple other minor things) which are now all fixed.If you encounter a softlock or any blocker please don't hesitate to let us know in the forums! We're still keeping an eye on things people are encountering, and hopefully the next planned patch will fix the remaining outstanding issues.

Hi everyone! We're releasing a patch that should hopefully fix the majority of issues people have been reporting. We want to thank everyone for their patience with us as we worked through and tested things. We're a small team and releasing in a very busy part of the year, so we didn't release as bug free as we would have hoped, but we're happy that many of you still enjoyed the game.Unless there's a major issue that we missed, we're likely not doing another patch until the new year. We took some extra time to try and get as many issues as possible from what people had been reporting, prioritizing soft locks and blockers. We are going to be continuing monitoring issues and probably releasing 1-2 more patches in January to clean things up. Hi all! A small hotfix that should fix or at least help the input sensitivity issues people have been experiencing. We're working on a larger fix for save issues and progression blockers that should be out either later tonight or tomorrow, but that needs time to test for compatibility with existing saves. Fixed input sensitivity behavior. (Users who have set their sensitivity low may need to re-adjust.) Fixed input sensitivity options to be more accurate. Fixed selection issues in options menu for controllers.We wanna thank everyone for the support they've shown Drywall Eating Simulator so far, and for their patience as we work through the bugs!
