Hey Everyone,Just a quick patch to address a couple bugs post big update:Fix to the mushroom towers eventually not firing mushroom projectiles.Fix to a bit of lag whenever the game swaps music track in the new game mode.Fix to wave menu prompting you to start wave 21 (which doesn't exist) when you complete wave 20.Fix to mushroom projectiles not changing icons when increasing damage - now get different mushrooms firing depending on the damage of the tower projectiles.Thanks,JoshWizard Shrimp Games

Hi Everyone!As it's been over a month since the last update I wanted to write this to keep everyone updated with what's going on.I have been working on full Steam Deck support as well as a huge update which will add an entirely new game mode to Mushroom Clicker.Steam Deck support is all done and dusted but I'm holding off on releasing the update so I can do some more testing and I will probably end up releasing that update at the same time as the new game mode. If you want to start playing MC on the Steam Deck already you can do so by using the touch screen, but the next update will introduce controls for a controller which will be much more intuitive and easier.The new game mode"I need your help! - Morel Vote Results And Upcoming Updates - 10 December 2025
Hi Everyone,I have here the results of the vote for whether to remove the grass burning mechanice for Morels or not:As you can see, it is just over 75% in favour of keeping the mechanic. Of course, I will listen to the people and keep the mechanic.I do think I have addressed most of the concerns that people have had over the mechanic anyway with my recent updates. This includes:Shaman fire spell buff (they now target the nearest unburnt spawn point, greatly increasing the efficiency)Warning when trying to unlock the Morel area when you haven't unlocked the fire spell. Hi Everyone, Just a small patch here focused around the fire spell.Added description to the fire spell in the skill tree to explain Right Click is how you use it.Changed the way Shaman's use their fire spell so they now target the nearest un-burnt spawn point instead of just setting fire to wherever they're stood.Hopefully this helps usability and feel of the Morel area.Thanks,JoshWizard Shrimp Games

v1.0.2 Patch NotesMoved the "Buy" button in the skill tree to below the coins, nearer where the "continue" button used to be, and made the "continue" button an arrow and put it in the corner. All this to avoid people accidentally clicking continue when they meant to press buy as I've seen it happen an embarrassing amount of times!Fair amount of balancing to the price of Area 5 and 6. You will now need more of all the other mushroom types to get 5 and 6 unlocked, field mushrooms remain the same.

Hi Everyone! Beta testing has well and truly begun for this little clicker game, and it's going super well, I've got a lot of great feedback so far! If you haven't noticed, the free demo is out now where you can explore the first two areas and a small selection of the skills. I've just updated it with mainly QoL stuff such as viewing the skill tree without cashing in all your mushrooms, the ability to reset your skills, and more little bits.Mushroom Clicker will be taking part in the Steam Next Fest starting next week which will be super excited and a great chance for the game to get some more visibility.
