  Hey everyone! As promised, today we are releasing another batch of game fixes. The maintenance starts at 5 PM server time and will take 1 hour 30 minutes. Right after it ends, a small gift will be waiting for you in our gift system: godsarena.online/gifts Full patch notes: Fixed the Olive Branch and other buffs working in locations where they are not allowed. Display settings have been expanded - you can now set a fixed resolution for the game window, prevent it from being resized, and adjust the FPS when the window is not in focus. HP/MP regeneration timing now matches the original: recovery ticks on whole 5-second steps and restarts after combat ends, death, teleports and PvP.   Hey everyone. Today at 7 PM server time we will run a short maintenance and install an update. It fixes the server error that made Elysium crash twice today. • Migration maintenance tomorrow at 12:00: Olympia and Elysium move to the new platform - 20 September 2026

  Hey everyone! Tomorrow at 12 PM server time we begin maintenance to migrate the Olympia and Elysium servers to the new client-server platform. The maintenance is expected to take several hours. After the maintenance you will need to update your client. We will post a separate announcement once the new client is available on Steam and in the launcher, so you have time to download the update before the servers open. The update will be large (over 1 GB), so be patient while it downloads. Once the servers are back up, you may run into errors, or the game may behave differently from how it worked before. Please report every such case on Discord: we will be making fixes promptly and updating the server and the client as issues get resolved.   Hey everyone. We are approaching a big and important milestone: the migration from the old client-server platform to the new one. We plan to make the switch on Monday, September 21. I will announce the exact maintenance time later. The game client will be completely replaced, and you will need to download it again in full, because every single game file will be different.   Hey everyone! Today at 12 PM server time (in about 2.5 hours) we will run maintenance on the servers and carry out the faction change for the approved guild and individual player applications. A reminder: every application went through moderation with server balance in mind. If your application was not approved, it means the transfer of your guild or your character would not have a positive effect on the balance between the factions. Wait for another, more suitable occasion to change your faction. The maintenance will take about 10 minutes.

  Hey everyone! Today at 8 PM server time the Consul event takes place on the PTS. It is the next part of the global testing of events on our new platform. Every participant will receive 2,000 bGold on their main server after the event ends, no matter whether they ended up on the winning or the losing side. • Faction change is now open on Olympia and Elysium - 1 September 2026

  As promised, faction change opens today on both Olympia and Elysium. Both servers currently have faction balance problems, and no one but you can solve them. This time, faction change is open in both directions, but with moderation: we will only approve the applications that have a positive effect on the faction balance. • Battle of Pindus: cross-server test event on the PTS this Saturday - 26 August 2026

  Hey everyone! This Saturday (August 29) we are running a cross-server event, the Battle of Pindus, on the PTS server. The PTS now holds up-to-date copies of the player databases from both Elysium and Olympia. That means you can simply download the PTS client and log in with your own character. The PTS client is available ONLY in our launcher. If your account is a Steam account, download our launcher as well, install the PTS client, but start the game from the game folder using the gw_steam.bat file. The event takes place on Saturday at 6 PM server time. The rewards you earn during the event (bGold) will be duplicated to your main character on Olympia or Elysium within 24 hours after the event ends, delivered as bGold pouches to your web warehouse. • Maintenance on August 12: new stat stones and a critical hit rework - 11 August 2026

  Hey everyone, friends! Tomorrow (August 12, 2026) at 12:00 server time we will run short maintenance. The work will take about 10 minutes. What is in the update Two new stat stones have been added to the game. The stones are sold by the Medal Keeper NPC in the capitals, for Medals; one stone costs 1,200 Medals. These stones let you add physical defense ignore and magic defense ignore stats to your weapons and armor. The stats can be added to rings, weapons, helmets, and gloves. Critical hit chance has been substantially reworked. Right now critical damage does not work correctly in the game: characters with 0 critical chance often land critical hits on characters with 0 Tena. This happens because the Hit parameter currently affects critical hit chance. After this update, the influence of Hit on Crit is greatly reduced, so characters with a low Crit parameter will no longer constantly la…

  Hey everyone! A few great pieces of news for you this Friday. Pet Transfer is now available on the website, in your personal cabinet What it is and who it is for. We regularly get messages like "I changed my class and my pet no longer fits me" and "I got unlucky with my pet's growth, my pet is bad." This new feature is built to solve both of those. You buy a new pet egg that suits your build from the in-game shop, and then, on the website, you fully transfer the progress of your main pet (levels, Merge and Rebirth) into that new egg. Only the hidden growth is taken from the new egg; the stat bonuses from levels and rebirths are recalculated from scratch for that new growth. So by changing class you can get a pet built specifically for your goals. And if you do not like how your pet's stats turned out, you can reroll them again and again until you are happy.   Hi everyone! In about an hour (12:00 server time) we will run a short maintenance and carry out the guild migration. A reminder: this round the migration is manually moderated. Only guilds whose move will improve the overall balance of power on the server will be migrated. • Faction Change Reopens: Now for Guilds - 24 July 2026

  Hi everyone! We are reopening faction change. Players have had enough time to think it over, and now it is time to balance things out. This round the migration is open to guilds, on both servers and in both directions. This time I will moderate the migration personally. That means I will only approve the applications that, in my view, best serve the health of the server. How to apply: each guild master activates the migration for their guild at godsarena.online/guild. Applications are open from today until July 26. On July 27 we will run the change. Guild masters, this is your call: talk to each other and make the right moves.

• Maintenance & Update: Appearance Change, Might Counter, EXP Storage - 9 July 2026

  Hi everyone! Today at 1:00 PM server time we will carry out maintenance (about 30 minutes). A game client update will be required. What's in this update: 1. Character gender and appearance change (on the website). You have been asking for this for a long time, and we have finally done it. Now you can change your character's gender, face, hairstyle and hair color. A lot of new hairstyles have been added (thanks to Witch for these). To apply the changes you need to log out of the game. One appearance change costs 1,000 gold, deducted from your website balance. 2. Faction Might counter in the Pindus event. You can now see how much stronger or weaker your faction is by Might rating. 3. New item: EXP Box Storage. At Helper Phaedra in Thebes you can combine 10 full Holy Box IV into a single EXP Box Storage, to free up your inventory.
