- 20% Discount, Tutorials and Infection Improvements - 2 June 2026
Hello, Scientists, To celebrate our new 20% discount, which will run until June 15, we are releasing a new update focused on infection balance, clearer experiment feedback, and new tutorial support for Assistant and Experiment Logs systems. Improvements Slower Infection Growth Player infection now increases more slowly. The infection growth rate has been reduced by 20%, giving players more time to react, craft vaccines, and manage infection pressure during a run. This should make infection progression feel less punishing, especially during the early and mid-game. Improved Experiment Logs Feedback Experiment Logs feedback has been rewritten to be clearer and more natural. Failed experiment feedback should now give more readable guidance without directly revealing the correct classification or exact solution. The goal is to keep the puzzle feeling intact while making it easier to understa…

For failed capsule tests, the details panel can show: Closest Match Similarity Suggested Direction Suggested Direction gives puzzle-like guidance such as improving stability, reducing aggressive mutation patterns, adjusting transmission behavior, or fixing viability problems. The system keeps the latest 20 experiment records, so you can review recent results and use them to improve your next blu…
- Assistant Call, Sequencer, Performance and Fixes - 30 April 2026
Hello, Scientists, This update focuses on improving virus classification, DNA sequence management, assistant control, laboratory stability, and general performance. Improvements New Call Assistant Feature You can now call an assistant directly to your current location by pressing C. If you have at least one available assistant, the HUD interaction list will switch to an assistant selection list. Choose an assistant from the list, and they will come to your location. If the selected assistant is currently busy, the call will be queued. They will come to you after finishing their current task. When you have multiple assistants, the assistant list is shuffled each time it opens. This should make it easier to access different assistants when many are hired. Better Assistant Call Feedback Added a new notification when a busy assistant is called. This makes it clearer that the assistant recei…
