Lead the party against hostile creatures, unknown horrors, and enemy soldiers, as long as there aren't any witnesses. Every character in the party is unique. They can learn from a wide pool of skills and use almost any gear you acquire. Have your designated healer carry a halberd and shoot lightning, if that's what you want. Skills develop over time by using them in combat, but you can also invest in them directly on level up. Mastering any skill will enable new actions in combat in addition to passive effects.
