• Thanks for 50K Wishlists! - 13 June 2026

  Hi everyone, We've reached a huge milestone this week: 50K wishlists on Steam! We recently dropped a pre-alpha demo of Necrofane to gather feedback on the game and see what people are enjoying and what people want to see more of. We've also got a Kickstarter campaign running that ends on July 1st. If you want to help get the game made, back us on Kickstarter. There you'll find backer rewards such as access to the game on launch, exclusive weapon/armor sets, beta access when it releases, additional content, and even becoming an actual NPC in the game (if you got it like that). • Necrofane Demo is Live - 6 June 2026

  Hi, everyone!Thank you all so much for the support and patience regarding the demo so far. We're excited to announce that the first public demo of Necrofane is officially available for download. It's a little rough around the edges, and it's still in alpha, but it's playable right now. There's a link in the main menu of the game that should take you right to Discord so that you can leave your feedback, suggestions, and bug reports (if you have any you want to share). We'll be updating the game during the Kickstarter campaign and beyond, so be on the lookout for that too.Regarding Kickstarter, we've hit 31% of our goal, and we believe that we're on track to reach it. So, if you've backed us on Kickstarter, thanks. If you're still on the fence, give the demo a shot, and see if it changes your mind. • Necrofane Steam Demo Announcment - 7 April 2026

  Edit: Sorry for the delays. We initially announced a Steam demo release of early May 2026. It is now June. We were overly optimisitic with our original demo release date estimate. The demo has been submitted to Steam and is currently pending approval. We'll make an announcment as soon as we have an update. Thank you for your patience. Original Announcement: The Steam demo for Necrofane is dropping early May 2026, so in just a few weeks. We're really excited to share what we've been working on so far with everyone. For those who have played the early dev demo on our Patreon, the content will be similar but with a few expanded areas and more robust combat mechanics, a leveling system, and a save system.
