• Miplet Plaza Update 11 - 18 July 2026

  Hello Planners!It's summer break so we have been out taking our kid to summer camp, meeting with friends and trying not to melt in the sun. We have been fixing up a few bugs with feature we already have, trying to get the build ready for the Demo to be uploaded to Steam. While that is happening, Asian Muffin has been working on some art for future features! Lockers will be in levels and maps that have the options for teams. You and your friends will be able to walk up to a locker and interact with it to pick you team. We are playing around with team colors, names and symbols.This next asset is the scoreboard!!! We are so excited for the team lockers and scoreboards. • Miplet Plaza Update 10 - 11 July 2026

  Hello Planners!It's been a busy few weeks for us. Summer break for kiddos started so we have been juggling that experience for the first time. We have made some progress though!Since last time we have been focusing on polishing what we already have so we cam release the demo and start building a community.We did some multiplayer testing and found a host of bugs that we fixed.One thing we finally worked on was polishing the movement and animations of the Miplet. The movement looks much smoother now!We have added a few last minute mini-games as well. We added "Lucky's Lobby" to host luck based mini-games in the future. Right now it has our giant pachinko board.We also polished off a lot of the race levels and finished off the Bumper car arena for some bumper car football!Our wonderful Artist (asian muffin) is starting to create some assets for a future update.   Hello Planners! The last two weeks have been quite productive! We have had an explosion of progress on our levels and minigames! We have quite the extensive list of minigames already and we are working on even more as that's the name of the game!   Hello Planners! Last week we got back up and running after a week of figuring out company taxes for the first time. We have been building some more levels, updating some of our steam graphics and starting to get our post game menu hooked up.This week we will continue getting the post game screen set up and continue on with out list of items to get done before we launch the demo on steam.Here is one of the levels we have been playing around with. • Miplet Plaza Update 6 - 2 May 2026

  Hello Planners!This week we hit a stride updating the menus in our new style!This is currently what the main menu looks like. We will be able to decorate this level with whatever props we want and change it for seasons or different events. So excited!!We are SO happy with how the customize screen has turned out. There are still a few things we'd like to change - but it's looking so nice now! The actual level being the background of the menu is very unique and showcases our clean style!No matter where you are in the level of the lobby, when you enter the customization menu it looks so good :D Here is where we ended up with the mini-game picker. Showcasing a lot more of the mini-games with art pieces that expand when you select them. Kind of like when you are picking a show or movie to watch on streaming platforms! • Miplet Plaza Update 5 - 25 April 2026

  Hello Planners!It's been a few weeks! We've been hard at work on many different things. Converting our menus to the way we want them to look at feel for the demo / release. A much more minimal and simple feel.Our artist has been creating lots of little things we need to polish the menus and some tic tac toe assets! He's also been polishing them menus as well. Can't wait to show them off!We have been making levels for our platform race mini game and separating out our board games into another level as the lobby was getting too crowded. • Miplet Plaza Update 4 - 29 March 2026

  Hello Planners! Spring break and family visits and sickness have slowed things down a little. We are in the middle of converting all our menus over to the new polished style that our wonderful artist mocked up last week.Next week we will discuss what we were able to accomplish in March and what our April Focus' will be. Something else we started to prototype is a maze level. This is a cool one as it could be used for multiple things. A maze race. Finding a item inside it. Tag inside the maze. Lots! Check back next week for some more progress! We plan on releasing a demo very soon!

• Miplet Plaza Update 3 - 14 March 2026

  Hello Planners! We spent some time trying to get vehicles fixed up and working again. It's almost there! After this is complete - we will have chess, checkers, soccer and driving as activities to do in the plaza before picking a mini-game to play.We continued our quest to rework and polish the menus before we release the demo. Here are some more mock ups.Here are some of the tests for the mini-game picker. Testing out some different layouts. Below is the nww styling for the lobby/plaza area. We love the blur fx of the chat! And finally, this is where you would browse the different plazas of your friends! The rest of March we hope to get these menu mocks up in-game and finish off a mini-game before the Demo launches :) Until next time!

• Miplet Plaza Update 2 - 10 March 2026

  Hello Planners! We have had a great February! Our monthly focuses change in thinking has worked wonders so far. On the features front we have been tweaking the movement feel and polishing the animations. We also did some bug fixing for the pick up / put down / throw mechanic. It wasn't working with host and clients. Now it is! Yay! We also have almost fixed vehicles :) Exciting stuff!!The next minigame we start to make will be a free for all dodgeball type game. Here is the arena!On the art side we've also made a lot of progress. We added a bunch of animations ready for us to use now and in the future. We also started to mock up the polish we want to do for our menus and screens! We hope to have a large leap in progress this month as well because of the monthly focuses.That's it for now! • Miplet Plaza Update 1 - 1 March 2026

  Hello Planners!Our Steam Page is up! What a huge step! People can now look at what we have been up to and wishlist!Outside launching the steam page -- we have been very productive! We have made a lot of new landscape blocks for us to use building levels and the lobby. Below you can see one of the circular pieces.We've been making some levels with those pieces and also working on our Pick up / Put down mechanic. This feature is a core part of the experience as it will allow us to do so much!Our levels look so good when zoomed out so you can see the whole thing.Our artist also created a goal / soccer ball pairing. Can't wait to play around with this!We have also been working on creating prototypes for obstacles in the levels like moving and rotating platforms.
