Ignis Dei is a puzzle-horror game inspired by the aforementioned events. The player will find themselves wandering through a forest to escape the plague, solving various puzzles, interacting with mysterious creatures, exploring, observing, and becoming lost in dark and haunting environments. The comet itself lasted only a few days, but many evils followed its ominous signs, especially upon our city of Florence. Soon after, a great mortality began, such that those who fell ill scarcely survived. More than a sixth of the citizens died, and many were the best and most beloved—both men and women.
