  What is The Puppy: Rebuilt? It is a full remake of the original The Puppy. The story and main events are still based on the original game, but the presentation, environments, and gameplay are being heavily rebuilt. This is much more than a graphical remaster.What is the biggest difference? The original game used pre-rendered 3D environments and a structure heavily inspired by games like FNAF. In Rebuilt, the environments are fully real-time 3D. You will be able to physically move between certain areas instead of simply switching between fixed screens.Can you explore the entire house? No. The game is still intentionally limited. You will mainly move around the central area of the house and places such as the kitchen. Bedrooms and other areas will remain inaccessible.   After listening to player feedback and reviewing the game’s main issues, we decided to rebuild The Puppy from the ground up. This new version will be a complete overhaul, built on a more stable foundation, with better performance, fewer bugs, new gameplay elements, and a much more polished experience.In practice, The Puppy will become almost a new game, reworked in several areas to deliver something more fun, more consistent, and closer to the potential we always saw in the project.As a way to thank everyone who supported the game from the beginning, the new version of The Puppy will be made available for free to everyone who already bought the game.The original version of The Puppy will remain playable even after the new version is released.   Resolved crashes caused by video playback. Fixed freezing issues during cutscenes or video segments. Compatibility errors that caused the game to crash have been addressed.

• Fixing some issues - 18 June 2025

  We encountered some compatibility issues with the game engine and certain videos used in the jumpscares. The game runs perfectly within the engine itself, but some problems appeared after exporting the build. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are already working on fixing everything. We’ll release an update as soon as possible.
