We don't plan on adding more features to Inevitability beyond bug fixes however given enough demand that could always change (or If I just get that itch) ;) Let us know if you run into any issues! - 1.20 Update is out. Science! Science! Science! - 22 April 2019
Hey guys It has been awhile. We have a cool update that just went out that added a long requested feature of being able to research new parts. You can see all the parts you have researched already and research new ones from the new research menu by spending "research points". You can get research points from the new part type of labs that can go on stations to generate passive science points. Even without labs you will slowly get points over time. OH BOY SCIENCE https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F9790064%2F96904671c9b4add6e7558473862bc7296814f6a5.png We have changed a lot on the backend of Inevitability, most of it is unnoticeable as we have improved our game engine for our second game that is just now entering early access on Steam. (you should check it out its pretty cool) 1.20 Added research menu! Added new part type: Labs. Changed background image as it…
- 1.19.0 update is out. Looks a bit better! - 7 August 2018
New update is out!!! This post will be a short one as there isn't large things just tons of little things. Some highlights..... The fonts have been made more consistent! Fonts and a lot of the UI was pretty inconsistent in places so we have made strides to make them more consistent. Such as having the same font/coloring across the game. https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F9790064%2Fd47c853f738a4e34139a1ec168cb2697c071346a.png Throughout the game things that made it feel choppy and styles inconstant have been changed to be more consistent and smooth. Such as there being a proper loading screen after the intro if the world doesn't finish loading by the end of it, Or the actual dirt explosions on the planet matching the color of the dirt. Or your probe studdering when going diagonally. On a more technical front lots of old gross and clunky code has been moved.…
- 1.18.2 is out! - 25 March 2018
As promised some new small updates have come out this month! Many of the major updates are user inspired. Help us improve and tell us your ideas! A bunch of new player and ease of use/ access to information. One thing that has been added is when you hover parts you can see the details on it right there instead of having to memorize all the part pattrens! Many other small tweaks have been made for the game to feel easier to play. Another such change is pressing M with now expand the mini map to the whole screen in order to better find where you are on the map and where to go. As always we have improved efficiency should be noticed in places as we update our custom built core engine that Inevitability runs on. Thank you everyone for the support. As always let us know if you have ideas for improvement and you could see them in next months update!!

- Update went out and update on development! - 18 February 2018
Hey guys! Update has just gone out. *Update that just went out* It is a small update from a download perspective, but under the hood a whole ton has changed. Big things like lasers producing significantly more lag than they should, or the game being slow when exiting and reloading a save multiple times and the game window being off screen with multiple monitor setups are just a few of the things you will notice right away that are fixed. Smaller things such as UI helpers and more standardization on Fonts and colors in places will also be apparent. *Nerdy tech things* From a more technical perspective we updated our graphics library and updated to be targeting a newer version of the .NET framework *Game update* I can't be thankful enough for those who have supported Inevitability the past four years! Last update I gave you guys I said we would be getting updates out more frequently sadly…

- 1.16 Update and some real talk. - 3 April 2017
1.16 Update Hey guys the 1.16 update has just gone out! It's our largest update file-size wise since the launch! A lot of the background music has been reworked to be less repetitive and overall just better. As well more sound effects have been added to make things sound more exciting and diverse. More textures have been reworked to make the overall game prettier. The beef of the update however is with stability and bug fix improvements. Too many here to list but overall the experience should be better overall. However if we missed anything there is now a log folder in your game that will fill out a crash log whenever a crash happens. Let us know about this in the forms and it will be fixed within 48 hours! Real Talk Anyways time for the real talk. As you guys may have seen our review score has plummeted recently. It is honestly discouraging when that happens, but I wanted to assure you…

- 1.15 Update! New parts, lots of other stuff. - 22 January 2017
Lots of stuff has been added and improved in the 1.15 update. Here are some of the highlights: Build menu and part changes/additions New part type: Ramming Weapons Ramming weapons will do extra damage on impact and give you another way to tackle combat. New part type: Batteries Batteries are introduced to make power management more interesting for planning of ships. They are able to store extra power. Ship cores now have a part limit. Better cores allow you to attach more parts to them. Be careful on old saves as older ships with weaker cores will not be able to be relaunched with all of their parts. Parts in the game now have information about them! Such as something unique that that part does, or where it was originated in the lore. A description of the part type is also here. You get info on parts by pressing I while you have it selected in the build menu. Parts also will now auto-cr…
