Latest Steam announcements
- Patch 1.0.3 — Windowed Mode Memory & a Proper Quit Button - 29 July 2026
The game now remembers windowed mode between sessions Added a Quit button to the main menu (the corner X remains as a shortcut)
- Patch 1.0.2 — Crisp Text & Pause Fixes - 28 July 2026
Fixed text appearing damaged/corrupted at resolutions above 720p — menus and cards now render at native resolution Fixed the Menu and Pause buttons not responding while the game is paused
- Patch 1.0.1 — Readability & Controls Fixes - 28 July 2026
Thanks to everyone who reported issues in the first days — both of these came straight from player reports. Keep them coming! UI Fixes Fixed overlapping text on the round setup screen — the wheel title no longer renders on top of the "Target" text. Deck cards are now readable at a glance: larger card name and description text with stronger outlines. No more squinting or hovering to find out what a card does. Controls Fixed key rebinding not working in Settings. Selecting a bind and pressing a new key now correctly assigns it (previously the rebind prompt ignored all input, and only "Reset to Default" responded). You can also bind mouse buttons; Escape cancels the prompt.
- Now out — and a note on what to expect - 28 July 2026
Stackbound is live. It's a physics tower-builder with a deck of cards, built by one person. Before each round you spin the Difficulty Wheel and it picks your problem: wind storms, timepressure, giant blocks, gravity chaos. Then you play cards against it — blue modifiers that hold forthe round, green utilities like Undo and Time Freeze, and red sabotage cards that make things worseon purpose because the payout is better. If you play it, a review would help. Steam shows no review score at all on a page with fewer thanten of them, so right now anyone landing here sees a blank space where other people's opinionsshould be. Two sentences fixes that. Good or bad — I'd rather know.— Werner
